Great Tool That Simplifies and Speeds-Up Operations
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track and quickly look up the status of equipment has been beneficial. "Lost trailers" in the yard are being caught right away instead of left growing roots for weeks. The ability to designate trailer status and condition gives you the ability to view real-time yard reports anytime you want. This helps to reduce the need to bring in additional raw materials because of paperwork errors and allows the warehouse to shift their work focus quickly. Yard drivers have found the system very easy to pick up, and like that, it tells them where to find each trailer. For new drivers, it dramatically reduces the time from training to productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
In limited situations, it would be beneficial for drivers to choose their next task instead of being auto-assigned.
Example - When the yard is at or beyond capacity, the tasks ask for dock pull-outs. If drivers could view the list of tasks and select spot-ins first, this would allow for an open spot in the yard for the pull-outs to go.
Comments should be viewable on the trailers "Load Info" tab instead of selecting a different tab. Comments are being missed without an immediate view.
Having the ability to select columns on the Equipment List page. Personally, I do not need "Free Time to Detention", "Detention Charge", and "Type". However, "Condition" would be very helpful to have immediate visibility of.
"Awaiting Unloading" at the top of the page does not seem to match "Checked In" trailer counts. Currently showing 107 at the top, but only 90 when a "Checked In" filter is applied. I have searched for "Loaded" and other designations but do not see where the missing 17 trailers are listed.

Trailers forgotten in yard because of lost paperwork in the building. With the ability to make sure the trailer is correctly entered into the system, even if paperwork is lost, we have a visual of the trailer's status so it can be corrected and not forgotten.
Excessive radio calls. All call outs have been almost eliminated.
Redundant yard moves. With better move tracking and visibility requests to move the same trailer multiple times has reduced.

The ability to track purchase orders in real time and see current locations

Currently there is nothing to dislike about the service that I have found

We are able to use this service to track orders and see if any delays are showing before contacting suppliers

What do you like best about the product?
FourKites has been helpful with being able to see all shipments in my network.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the dashboard could be better. I don't like for round trip or multi-stop shipments that I have to click on the shipment to see all the details. I also don't like that the search baris only for the TMS#. It would be nice if the search bar can be used for anything (i.e. type what I'm looking for & shipments that match that criteria would show.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, my team is still working out all the kinks with the integration & making sure our carriers are using the system properly.

The tracking abilities are most vital for day-to-day needs. Scheduled reports are extremely helpful in organizing information that we can use to improve our carriers' participation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The format of alerts can be improved for easier visibility on tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving issues of loads running late, taking incorrect routing, and re-occurring delays out of our source locations.

Ensure that you are monitoring the accuracy of tracking. Tracking improvement is a benefit to all

ETA and map visualization are good. Also getting out the data via API seems to work.

Filter functionality is not great. I would preferer dropdowns instead of free search.

Tracking loads and giving accurate estimated for customers.

I like how simple it is to search and navigate through the website.

I still haven't came across any issues with the website

I'm able to view tracking and exact delivery times for customers, it's very accurate.
Very helpful in getting locations for loads

Some of the carriers are not GPS tracked, some locations are not accurate and entered manually.

Fourkites can give me a snapshot view of late loads and at risk of being late loads.
