What do you like best about the product?
Web based access with common Eastman settings to ease progress during busy times.
What do you dislike about the product?
Extract report in excel filter format is not as straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking containers movement or trying to locate lastest shipment status of a specific order.

Real time visibility of the shipments with updated ETA, agile and efficient

What do you like best about the product?
Fourkites platform is straightforward, easy to use. It gives real-time information on the truck/vessel location based on GPS coordinates. The reports are helpful as they contain detailed information about CO2 emissions, tracking consistency, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is very helpful as long as the carriers provide the truck license plates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have end-to-end real-time visibility on the trucks. We can better optimize the activity and help reduce the CO2 emissions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to have end-to-end visibility and know at all times where your products are i recommend Fourkites.

What do you like best about the product?
great ideas, nice reports, many great opportunities to improve processes
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding of carriers seems to be problematic in Europe. Even those carriers from the top 10 Logistics service providers are not capable of providing real-time tracking in Europe
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are still in the implementation phase after more than 14 months after the kick-off. We still do not get the benefits from the system. The traget was to improve the customer relationship by seeing much earlier any delays in the process.

Metrics and tracking

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of tracking when the carriers use it as they should. Its true in that it works as good as the information you put in it. The Metrics are a great way to measure many aspects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Carriers seem to be afraid of this, and this becomes a challenge when trying to get them to use it regularly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems are trying to get all of our carriers to use the tracking as they should and do it in a timely manner. We have noticed that if they are using tracking, it makes our customer care team's job easier and more efficient when we don't have to send 20 emails to transportation to get an update. It's logged, and they can look. This minimizes time spent on waiting for an ETA.

What do you like best about the product?
With the visibility in real-time of the shipments, we can provide current status to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
We still have some language barriers in Latin America, and we need more sources in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have the benefits of the actual locations, almost all the time. We have communication issues from the carriers but Fourkites help us to have the real location when carriers are not responding our calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be careful with the border because it can be a little difficult to track if you use many carriers.

The delay of shipments, and fortunately Fourkites gave as a real-time update which gave me a fast decision to make

FourKites Helping to Solve Customer Service Use Cases

What do you like best about the product?
Our Customer Service teams are saving significant time identifying shipment status by avoiding to first look in our ERP and only looking up shipments #'s, customer PO's, part numbers, sales orders, ect to see the status of a shipment to a customer. Long term, we will send the tracking links directly to our customers so they can track their own shipments and avoid having to contact customer service all together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Carrier onboarding ended up being more time consuming then originally thought.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Efficiencies in identifying the status of our customer shipments - less time to track shipments and less customer inquiries
2. Tracking our internal network shipments from location to location - We now can know for sure where each shipment is
3. Understanding where our sea and air shipments are from overseas and update our expected arrival more frequently.
4. Balancing workload at our DC's by utilizing appointment manager
5. Rating our carrier performance and working with them for understanding issues and improved performance

What do you like best about the product?
The predictive analysis, especially for internaitonal imports, helps provide the right data for supply chain. Imports was a black hole for the supply chain; we had to track every container through various websites and emails manually. Communication to the end customer was unreliable. Once implemented supply chain and customer service was able to provide a better customer experience; we are able to provide more accurate on time into our warehouse and provide btter ETAs to the end customer. Anther area that we liked is during the RFI stage we would offer suggestions for certain requirments that are being asked by out customers. The other potential vendors gave us a pat "this is what we offer now but in the future -- if enough people ask for it we may develop this." When we presented it to FourKites, they took it back to the development team and within a few days they would call and say they took the suggestion back to development and wanted to show us what they had done. FK listens to the customer and is quick to develop technology to meet the ever changing business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Implementation took longer that expected; this issue was mostly contributed to my team as we were too quick to try to begin writing the integration without vetting the requirements. My advice is to make sure you bring in the FK resources from the beginning; they are the SME on these integrations and can make it much easier for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our most significant gap was international, especially with the current market conditions brought on due to COVID. Arrival into port was delayed due to congestion, and then drayage further delayed the receipt into the distribution centers. We could not give sales and the end-user a reasonable timeline for expected delivery. With the predictive analytics of FK we now have more confidence in the information we communicate to the various shareholders.
