Visibility for a blind supply chain.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track and trace loads across our network including information of potential delays (weather, traffic, Ect). ETAs of the loads can provide a proactive approach to load and product management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Carriers that are not compatible with FourKites
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
with FourKites visibility to loads have increased how we can react to issues that may arise in the supply chain. With this reaction we can better align internal and external expectations to when product will be available in respective locations.

FourKites will provide the visibility that your supply could be lacking, providing knowledge of where your product is at the click of a button.

What do you like best about the product?
Fourkites not only offer a sleek platform that improves our supply chain efficiency, the Fourkites team is constantly developing new capabilities from customer suggestions and needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial offerings are so vast that it was difficult to focus on the most beneficial quick wins rather than trying to use all of the capabilities of FourKites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility of shipment status and efficiencies in dealing with disruptions in the supply chain.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know your business and pain points and focus on these with Fourkites first. Their offerings are extensive and trying to capture all benefits at once can slow your capture of benefits.
(ITV) In-Transit Visibility for multi modal and traditional transit lanes.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for management of loads, sort and filter functions whether using desktop/laptop or mobile applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface required for brokerage customers and logistics networks, that are non-fleet owned. Gaps in tracking already known industry wide, that are subject to human error/ inability to adhere to standards of communication. More automation to this process needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Carrier compliance and visibility to delayed/ at risk deliveries.
Tracking Consistency Great Tool for Customers
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking in Fourkites enables the shipper and customer to easily determine ETA and transportation delays.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is only as good as the carrier consistency
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer Service is able to reduce non value added time contacting regional transportation and the carrier to determine for the customer, when the load will arrive.

Works great with TMS integration and reference numbers
Fourkites is the best RTV application to add to your TMS landscape !!
What do you like best about the product?
Best part about Fourkites is their Customer-Centric Design . The end users are almost a member of their PD team.
What do you dislike about the product?
That they dont have a full end to end IF application and only restricted to providing RTVs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now having afar better Truck Tracking & Real Time Visibility through Fourkites which automatically improves the experience for the end user and save a lot of OTIF Penalties.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do check other vendors providing RTVs.

It worked like a charm for our requirement at a significantly small capex.

What do you like best about the product?
FourKites allows us to reduce the manual tracking we have been doing for many years.It allows us to be more proactive at managing our carriers and ensure the products we handle for our customers are delivered as they expect. The product continues to evolve and allow for better efficiencies

Product is good and looks good for the future

What do you like best about the product?
The website and software is user friendly and makes it easy to learn on your own. The most you put in to learn FourKites, the more you will get out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to customize filters on the home dashboard. I would like to be able to change the type of shipment and the dates for the loads shown.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently working on tracking consistency for my company. I have learned the sooner you get the tracking assets in FourKites, the better tracking consistency we get.
A game changer for tracking and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
FourKites has the best tracking we've seen and amazing reporting capabilities. It has tons of filters to help you find relevant information quickly and allows you to share encrypted load information with customers and other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we can't get the reporting aspects we need from 4K, but we can always download raw data from the platform to find what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track loads to nearly exact locations, cutting down on back and forth conversations with carriers. Notifications can be used to see late deliveries and pickups. We are also able to utilize reporting features.

The user interface is very easy to use and gather information quickly

Some carriers are reporting issues with using the carrier link app and not knowing how to use it properly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use, i also like the community feature, I have found it very easy to try to find answers fast by looking at previous questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had automatic pings when they carriers entered the geofences & not just when the driver marks or when the next ping is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to provide our warehouses with ETA's and track our product.

Make sure to poll your carriers on which products they use and ease of using it.
