What do you like best about the product?
I really like the idea of FourKites because as a dispatcher it makes my job easier because the drivers are easy to locate and its very helpful and effective communication for my customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any compliants regarding FourKites, it's been very helpful for our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I, personally, haven't experienced any problems. My drivers like it and it cuts down on calling them all day.

I like that I can track loads in real time
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there aren't more carrier using the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
finding trucks when the carriers are unresponsive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I advise the use of this service when tracking loads.

What do you like best about the product?
FourKites has provided us tracking visibility to our orders that we never had before. We are able to communicate updates on orders in the platform, which reduces email traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a quick and easy way to identify if an order has been rescheduled, as once a date change has been made, FourKites starts tracking to the updated appointment. If an order is past the delivery date/time, FourKites does not recognize that it is past due and does not highlight this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proactive communication to our customers on late orders
Visibility to potentially at risk orders and saving orders
Reduced email traffic
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about what is most important to your customers, and how you can provide value to the customer in a simpler/leaner/faster way. Does the FourKites platform provide this value to the customer and do it in an efficient way.

What do you like best about the product?
That you can see exactly where the truck is, this can help giving more accurate information to all our customers in order to make on time deliveries. As well the possibility of seeing what was the reason of any delay it is a great option to have. Is very good also that FourKites provides an estimated time or arrival when any of this delays happens. Why ? Well, it gives us the chance to provide more accurate information to the final customer in terms of deliveries on time, delays or misses of the loads
What do you dislike about the product?
that it depends on how the truck is working, for example if it doesn't ping, you don't get any updates for the load you're looking for.There should be an option or alert that Four Kites may have which informs the carrier that the truck is not pinging and giving tracking information updated. In this way the carrier should contact the driver in order to make any update manually on the system and provided accurate information to the user. In this way the carrier should not be notified or contacted by us requesting for tracking information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking loads to make sure they make on time delivery,providing accurate updates to the final customer, helping us to recover missed loads to recover withing the SLA given. As well this tool give us the chance to provide a better customer service on what we do and taking this to next level to keep our customers happy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is a very good tool, if you need to track something by your own instead of sending emails to the carriers

The Brink of Real-Time Visibility

What do you like best about the product?
FourKites is an extremely effective platform for those who have a large amount of load volume to maintain, organize, and remain accountable for. The visibility that FK provides for us allows us to handle our current business with ease and to be ambitiously confident that we can handle more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to FK to improve how often it transmits a location. Ideally, we should approach the point where it is real-time transmitting instead of every 15-60 minutes per ping/location update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving a visibility problem. Not being able to be accountable for where our loads during land freight transportation is a liability that can be susceptible to: low carrier quality/accountability, freight theft, and more. Being able to see where our loads are at all times doesn't only help keep carriers accountable and protect against losing our loads to theft. It also helps be proactive by knowing when a load might be late so we can update customers ahead of time to provide the best customer service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would simply say that this is an excellent place to start if you're looking to improve your companies visibility. It has an excellent easy to use and interpret interface but still manages to be a versatile and complex platform. They do a great job in providing simplicity features and allowing you to adjust the interface to something more customizable if you're looking to refine, filter, sort, and get complex.

What do you like best about the product?
All the information it has, notes, ETA, and that you are able to track more than one load at the time. You can see the truck in live movements. You can see information from carriers, as well you can track several of regions a the same time and for our use that is really important.
What do you dislike about the product?
Carriers sometimes manually update tool with incorrect information and we know this because when we ask on email they provided a rescheduling time and confirms that it was not deliver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing loads in advance that are going to be late and ETA provided and reason for the delivery late. We are able to work a building acceptance faster with the carriers as well reschedule appointments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at all the features that it has, if we learn all the information that we can get out of it, it will even be more useful. The tool has so much information in detail.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to track loads in near real-time. The ability to integrate in multiple ways, although most consistency is achieved through ELDs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasional technical issues that make some data supplied by FourKites less reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're reducing the amount of time spent sending emails/calling carriers for updates by leveraging FourKites as an alternative source for tracking updates. We're able to see an organized view of tracking updates across the network by leveraging dashboards in FK.

What do you like best about the product?
FourKites is a collaborative company that focuses on customer service

Constant fine-tuning required - meaning we have to regularly work to ensure good results are provided
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have visibility to our inbound shipments that were previously unavailable. We can tell when a shipment is on time and when it is late.

Know that we analyzed other providers and found FourKites to be the premier service provider in this space

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use. It is very user friendly and the interface is clean.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not knowing which carriers are part of FourKites is the main downside for me in using it for my daily tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using FourKites to verify information we are receiving from our carriers had been a major problem we have solved. We have information gaps occasionally and FourKites has been great in closing those gaps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
FourKites can be a timesaver. Using it to verify information and to determine whether further follow-up has made our workflow more efficient.
