What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track our shipments end to end, regardless of FTL and LTL. Having the ability to set up preventative measures to ensure we are servicing our customers to the best of our ability. The insights dashboard is also very useful in providing analytics on carrier compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The executive dashboard should have more actionable insight that can be taken by operational users. The lack of an actual "executive" dashboard for upper supply chain management within our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to dispute customer fines, align customer appointments and keep attention/ focus on carriers that have not been compliant for on-time delivery. Also being able to save time reducing emails sent back and forth, having one platform that we can use to do everything in relation to transportation (and eventually warehousing if needed).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at their entire suite of solutions beyond the basic tracking service. This will allow you to take a more comprehensive approach and re-evaluate the systems you use.

What do you like best about the product?
being able to have access to extra tracking of customer freight
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing so far. i'm new user and so far seems to user friendly and easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
drivers complaining messing their phones up or refusing to use tracking. with this they don't have to worry about this kind of issue. tracks through their ELD
Recommendations to others considering the product:
user friendly, great support team with four kites they work quickly and answer any questions you may have in timely manner. i'm impressed already. extra tracking for important freight or general freight at all. i recommend to anyone, puts your mind at ease along with the customer because to can see their freight location

What do you like best about the product?
Learning how the platform works is very easy. When I first started I had no clue what I was looking at. After the first couple of weeks it was very easy to understand how the system and support was also very helpful with any questions I had to ask
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like CarrierLink is a difficult tool to use for Brokerages. Due to the constant changing driver pools and the technical illiteracy of many drivers it can be hard for them to use. This is more a driver issue than FourKites itself but it is something we deal with often
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FourKites has allowed us to see where our trucks are and has also helped us weigh benefits against the costs of hiring specific carriers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If many of your carriers are asset based, FourKites is simple to use and will net you fantastic visibility

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to track the truck information and easy way to integrate with other systems. Every update is visible in clear way.
By using this application we are communicating a lot of information to my customers and they are very happy to track the truck information.
We are sending an email by using salesforce with valuable information.
the link which we are sending, one click and give us the complete information about the truck
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find any issues of using this application.
Every time we need to connect with VPN to access the FourKites site, this is not the flaw, this is just a security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are tracking the truck information.
we are sending the text messages on the basis of the vehicle tracking
my business is increased based on the text messages we are sending to customers
we are doing Marketing based on the information we send to customers
we are able to send the campaigns by using the truck information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
support is very good and easy way to access the application.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the location of everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is not with the application but consistent use by the carriers. Getting their information timely into the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again the ease of use allows the flow of work to be consistent throughout the day and information is received and completed in a timelier fashion.

What do you like best about the product?
Very convenient and accurate. No need to chase anyone for an eta or ata, its just there. I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes not able to track some loads. Not being able to track loads is a set back. it means I have to chase people
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confirming ETAs and ATAs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just make sure all loads are tractable.

User-Friendly and Easy to Navigate

What do you like best about the product?
Fourkites is a simple tool to use with lots of information that's carefully formatted so as not to be overwhelming to the users. It's also everrchanging to meet business needs
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more color-alternating or blocking when looking at loads in a list. It's tough to manage the way it is, for those hard of sight. I will also say that it's usefulness is dependent on carrier compliance
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm responsible for tracking loads and communicating with/ updating the customers. I appreciate being able to filter all loads from a particular shipper/port , rather than having to look at one load at a time. Being able to pull the dashload and have the loads sorted by relevance is a HUGE help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with the tool and test out the different features

Great Service in the Transportation World

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see what trucks are tracking behind all on one screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not found any dislikes. The system overall works wonderful and is a great source for keeping up with the truck all the way to the delivery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a realtime view of where trucks are and when a load will deliver instead of just guessing. This has improved our overall ontime.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a must use tool to have in the transportation world. If you are shipping anything I suggest getting this and using it daily. It will improve your overall view of loads and on time deliveries. We started using this a little over a year ago at our company and can already see improvements with tracking and on time.

Quick Load Status Summary

What do you like best about the product?
Able to quickly get an idea of the location status of a load. Works great when I just need a general idea of on time delivery status to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the locations of trucks aren't 100% up to date which leads to us still having to contact the carrier for an accurate report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to provide our customer with a fairly up to minute status report is great. Especially on HOT loads that they need ASAP.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be patient when first learning the system and ask a lot of questions. This is a great resource it just takes time to learn how to use.
