Access to Real Time Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
The most beneficial aspect for me is being able to have accurate tracking information to provide to my customers. I do not have to worry about a dispatcher or drivers providing bad information because that is eliminated from the equation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to rely on the driver to accept app-less tracking or download the app in order to get the tracking activated. I realize that this is the nature of the beast but it'still is tough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving our flow of information to our customers is the main problem we are getting solved. This has increased our partnerships with our customers and allowed for completely different type of customer relationship.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask a lot of questions. Make sure you understand how all of the metrics are calculated and what constitutes a well tracked load in FourKites system
Amazing Tracking Software!
What do you like best about the product?
Fourkites is honestly the best tracking software out there, at any time I can log in and see exactly where my freight is, what weather or traffic obstacles they are approaching or if they are even moving. If you are on the fence about it, just get it you wont regret it. It is also matched with an amazing team that will help you with any obstacles you are facing. You could regret getting this software!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about Fourkites, I have been using them since day one at our company and they have only gotten better day after day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We move a lot of freight, and I mean A LOT! Fourkites has been critical in tracking our freight and updating our customers real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say keep doing what you are doing! Every day since day 1 you have made great improvements!
TRACKING LOADS
What do you like best about the product?
I can see clearly how long it will take to reach the destination store.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is great tracking tool to avoid the late delivery to the destined store and track the reasons as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves a lot of problems on my end such as the reasons of late as an evident because the carrier cannot say due to the road conditions/weather to get rid of charges or the level of service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is excellent tracking tool.
I can see everything
What do you like best about the product?
The App is great the website is easy and intuitive. Now I can see all my carriers on one system and my dock will be able to plan their day so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much...The tracking is robust and is easy

Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly interface. Provides valuable information to our customers but has also been very valuable to us in helping detect potential late deliveries in advance of driver self notifying. Great customer service from 4kites when issues have arose. We are a small company and their team went above and beyond to help us create an efficient process to integrate on dispatch software data into their platform for our customers. We were very excited when some of our other customers have started using them!
What do you dislike about the product?
Tracking of short loads gets a little funky. We assign 3-4 loads a day sometimes and 4kites tracking doesn't keep up necessarily as we're flagging around in our system then updates 4kites board. Also, sometimes incorrect stop/delivery appt times are pulling over into 4kites. I don't believe this is a 4kites platform issue, but rather data issue on customer side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us detect some loads that were running behind/late to delivery before we would have normally caught it. Has decreased the amount of daily calls from our customers that use that since they know have access to tracking info immediately. now our conversations center around loads we all know that are in jeopardy vs every single load.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
GReat product . they move 'fast' on making positive changes to their tools. Haven't had as much 'red tape' in regards to changes/updates for their tools/capabilities as I've experienced with other companies.
My experience w/ FourKites
What do you like best about the product?
I was initially impressed most by the product but then even more impressed w/ the support. Not what we're getting to critical mass - I like the speed of product development / enhancement.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a silver bullet for broker tracking and we could on-board all carriers at once!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inconsistent inbound service. We are already seeing some of our facilities make adjustments to their receiving schedules based on actual locations of shipments w/out having to guess or make phone calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set very clear expectations w/ carrier base around what you are trying to do, how this will help them and how you expect them too participate.
Great Platform and Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The customer-friendly tracking link that allows my customers to track their own shipments without me having to provide period updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more carrier compliant with updating their tracking information.

Logistics, Planning, and Distribution
Great application that increased my efficiency and productivity!
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking updated every 15 minutes effectively lets me evaluate on time probability in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see all of my loads yet but I know that is being addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily be proactive instead of reactive because of the detailed and timely information provided by FourKites.
FASTER, BETTER AND EFFICIENT
What do you like best about the product?
I love having live data with real time updates at my fingertips. The functionality allows me to be efficient in my day to day job in logistics!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any complaints. At present and being new to the product for less than a year. I have not found any reason not to use FourKites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits have cut my follow time with my carriers down by at least 50%. I feel that once they are all using the system the percentage of my day spent following up will be cut even further.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and has helped us out immensley!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the parameters and filters can be a little bit weird but are easy to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest reason our customers call in is for ETAs. This helps gives the customers accurate ETAs and gives us an easy way to find the information they are looking for.
