Good tracking tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like using the map interface the best and the accurate time of the geofence entry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took is only as good as carriers that are compliant. I see a lot of awaiting tracking info which doesn’t help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate tracking for customer service. Especially for our larger volume customers it trims down the amount of manual tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is very intuitive. FourKites onboarding was thorough and they took time to answer questions for both the inbound logistics team and other key stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since onboarding, we have had struggles with carriers not knowing that Sysco has become a FourKites customer. The carrier IT departments are aware, but that information doesn't flow well down to the ops/dispatch employees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to be able to answer 'where is my truck?' and 'when is my truck going to arrive?' We are able to do so as we have brought a larger percentage of our carrier base on line. We are able to better see when carriers are in danger of missing a load pick up, which is helping to improve on time delivery to our facilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take things one step at a time. At first, we are using FourKites as the primary way to answer 'where is my truck?' Our future goals include allowing delivery schedules to become dynamic in response to truck ETAs.

Four Kites is an awesome resource I can use daily to provide my customers with up to date tracking information. It is easy to use and understand!

So far, I am pleased with the Four Kites product!

our business problems are that we strive for customer satisfaction and with all of the alerts and categories you guys provide we are able to really cut down on the time it would take to sift through all of our orders
Top Notch
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Four Kites is it automatically sends out tracking requests and does everything behind the curtains for you! It's simplicity and easy structure makes this part of the industry much, much for efficient!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some delay in receiving tracking updates here and there but overall a top of the line service!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems being fixed are carriers who lie about where they are or what their in/out times were. Having documented proof and times saves so much money and time. Benefits are endless when you can see where the truck is and what their ETA is! Allowing us to notify our customers shall a delay or even an early arrival appear.

Excellent app! Definitely something to try if you are looking for a tracking app!

The bells and whistles are nice - good dashboard features
What do you dislike about the product?
That we lose visibility to our brokered loads, we can't easily pull information out of the tool, and early/ontime/late buckets are not flexible based on business needs - just one setting is currently available.

Furthering the expansion of use and insight learning via the tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that you can see when a load is entering detention. I think that is a more accurate time stamp versus the times carriers can sometimes give us. it also helps us stay on top of these instances so we can notify our customers.

Carriers are resistant based on the time it takes to set up.

To repeat my prev answer, the major issue is Carriers are resistant based on the time it takes to set up.

Working with 4Kites is great. They provide visibility to an industry that desperately needs it.

Their customer service and willingness to help our business succeed in any way possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Carrier onboarding process is difficult but I wouldn't say that has anything to do with 4Kites. Carriers are still not as receptive to the process as they should but that's a carrier by carrier issue.

Visibility to our freight. Visibility equals less check calls and emails.

If you need freight visibility this is the company to work with. They are experts in the supply chain tracking field amongst other things.

What do you like best about the product?
FourKites is committed with customer success, and very willing to collaborate on changes and enhancements needed. They have a solid knowledge and experience with different carriers' TMS and ELD integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish carrier onboarding could have a faster turnaround time. Also, technical support team sometimes can take too much time to rootcause and/or solve issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting our track and trace process, by improving our visibility to shipments. They are helping to close the gap on connectivity with carriers.
