FourKites Big on Ideas, Low on Customer Service

What do you like best about the product?
I like that FourKites is big on ideas and hype. Sometimes the ideas are bigger than the capabilities, though and follow through is an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike the customer service provided by FourKites. When you ask a question or want to know more information about what is required you a referred to the customer answer portal rather than getting the information that you need. I don't have the time to look up the answer that's why I ask the question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the tracking platform only at this point and would like to branch out, but again the customer service is an issue, and we aren't getting the specialized attention required when exploring a new product.

What do you like best about the product?
The new technology they are developing to provide stronger visibility to customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes feels like there is a delay in customer service response. As a newer user on the system, that may be a gap on my end I need to close.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a tool for carriers to send EDI updates.

Tracking Made Easier

What do you like best about the product?
FourKites has so many methods of connecting with your carriers. They have an answer for every tracking scenario, so no matter how carriers are tracking loads, they can work with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
FourKites can sound like a lot of work for carriers who are unfamiliar with it, so it can take some convincing to get carriers "on board" with connecting via FourKites. A quick and simple FAQ for carriers based on their current tracking setup would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FourKites is helping to solve tracking trouble when it comes to brokers. Other methods are either not thorough, not real-time, or both. Customers are happier with the detailed and accurate information available thanks to FourKites.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that they provide visibility on where our trucks are and give ETA estimates that we can provide to our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
FourKites Support doesn't always solve issues in a timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FourKItes is solving visibility concerns, which allows us to keep track of our shipments as well as keep our carriers honest.

What do you like best about the product?
We have about 6 years using Fourkites, slowly expanding it to more countries and more operations. Besides the great product, which is intuitive and offers what we need, they also have a great customer experience. The team that handles our account is always present and responsive to our feedbacks and ideas for improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is character limitation to enter the product description. Some of our chemical materials have a very long name.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping with our inbound shipment and downstream visibility.

What do you like best about the product?
being able to perform better with ETA and estimated arrival times, right now we have to layover our trucks for security matters, son the ETA doesnt always perform precisely
What do you dislike about the product?
fourkites app for ipohone doesnt show a list of carriers you have to write it down but nothing cames up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ETA estimated times and dynamic ETA , geofence precission when we have near by customers for ex.

What do you like best about the product?
that is user-friendly. Fourkites team is open to opinions and feedback. The platform evolves continuously, and they are always looking for what is next and what is needed it

Some times have a respond from support takes a little more that what it's need it

What do you like best about the product?
Fourkites is great seeking for feedbacks, room for improvement and sollutions to fit our operation
We started tracking loads and now we are looking to track orders with products
What do you dislike about the product?
ETA is still a working progress. We need to mantain a lot manually in order to work properly
still looking to get the speed of the truck in the platform
language for carriers (in MEX not everyone speaks english)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
internal visibility. The communication improved at looking at the same platform with the actual status

What do you like best about the product?
The user experience is highly intuitive and visually appealing. I am always surprised that it is easy for users without training to instantly get some useful information
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limited functionality to upload additional data points when there are untrackable loads (carriers do not have tracking capabilities but can provide etas). This is not important for an individual load but is to get a full picture including those not tracked.
