The folks at Edgescan are experts, and passionate about all things security; this shines through both the Edgescan platform, and through their excellent customer support.

I found the the platform is very easy to set up, the information and output is clear and detailed, making addressing findings much easier as you're armed with a wealth of knowledge not only on the finding, but how to close the gap.

It's been easy to integrate into our existing engineering and security processes and tooling.

It's simple to set up automated vulnerability scans - and easy to automate those to run frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything - Edgescan has done everything I needed, and more!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a scale up reputation and trust is increasingly important to us, our clients, and our users. Security of our systems and their data is paramount.

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple, effective, and consistent. Implementation and ongoing adds, moves and changes are easy. Customer Support is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a little antiquated, and not all data elements were initially available everywhere. You could see the data point of last seen, for example, but it would not be available in an export.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The vulnerability management policy at Cleo requires that we perform network vulnerability scanning on a regular basis. This fulfills that that need.

Efficient Vulnerability Scanning with Easy Navigation

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Edgescan's simple design; it makes it very easy to navigate from the portal. The way everything is laid out in a neat, tidy area saves us from constantly clicking through pages of information. The information available is really beneficial and saves us the time of having to look for it ourselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not came across anything to dislike so far, everything works really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Edgescan to check customer deployments for vulnerabilities we can't find manually. It's great because we lack the staff to do these checks manually, and it provides an overview of what needs attention, saving us time and effort.

Detailed Vulnerability Insights with Clear, Helpful Examples

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's useful and necessary to find vulnerabilities in our code using checkmarx. I like the detailed explanations of each weakness, as well as the examples of compliance and non-compliance, it really helps me understand the actual issue, letting me resolve it faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find there are quite a bit of false positives. I appreciate that I am not a cyber security expert, so some cases that I would deem as false positives are in fact true positives. However, I have seen blatant cases where Checkmarx clearly made a mistake in its reasoning. These cases make me more sceptical, like the boy who cried wolf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Edgescan scans our many code repos and shows us vulnerabilities in our code. This is critical because finding these allows us to patch them, leading to a more secure codebase. Each time I make a PR, I check to see if my feature has introduced a vulnerability and if so, I can fix it before it makes its way into production. By reading the explanations and following up using the links provided, I become more educated and aware of the common pitfalls which lead to insecure code.

Detailed Vulnerability Management, Needs Faster Scans

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface, as it lets me quickly check the count of open vulnerabilities, level of risk, and time to remediate, with the ability to drill down to asset, device, and risk details. The detailed vulnerability data is excellent because it helps me easily understand the risk and impact, allowing for better planning to mitigate or resolve issues. I also appreciate the automated alerts and reports, which ensure the whole team stays updated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scans take too long. Some vulnerabilities are closed and later re-opened for no apparent reason. Application vulnerabilities seem to be lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Edgescan for prompt identification and management of network vulnerabilities. It helps me track them by severity and time, create vulnerability management KPIs, and understand fixes. The user-friendly interface, detailed data, and automated alerts keep my team updated and informed.

Human-Validated Security with Fast Retesting

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Edgescan for its human-validated responses and quick retesting on demand. It's reassuring to know that once we address a previously flagged issue, it will be quickly retested by the team with appropriate feedback. Although the initial setup was not completely straightforward, the help we received from the team once we raised issues was spot on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did find it relatively hard to set up Edgescan in the beginning, but the team was there to help us, in fairness. It wasn't completely straightforward out of the box, but we received the help needed once we raised issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Edgescan helps us with identifying vulnerabilities and patching them efficiently. I like the human-validated responses and quick retesting on demand, which ensures the flagged issues are addressed swiftly with appropriate feedback.

Great product with a great team behind it!

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
On demand pen testing as a service

ALL findings are validated by a person which eliminates a large number of false positives

Because all findings are validated by a person, it makes risk prioritization easier for organizations with limited resources

The ability to rescan for a specific vulnerability
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not much of a downside but because every finding is validated by a person, scans can take a longer time to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization is a small to medium organization with limited resources. We need to be able to scan web applications, APIs, and infrastructure, from one tool. We also need to remove as many false positives as possible and make sure we're addressing our riskiest vulnerabilities first. The Edgescan product and team make this possible!
