Teamcenter very helpful our current workflow

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter makes it easy to keep all your part deatils in one place. You don’t need to manage them separately in CAD or ERP tools. Everything stays organized in a single spot. Because of its simple interface, can fast update information and work together without confusion.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the tools we already use, like onshape and rootstock, adding teamcenter feels like extra work we don’t really need. Since it doesn’t connect smoothly with our main system, managing data in multiple places becomes a problem. It would be much easier if all the useful teamcenter features were built right into CAD software, so everything satys in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter works like a central hub where engineering teams can store and share CAD files with other department like purcahsing, production and service. Because everything is kept in one place, its easier to keep everyone on the same page and avoid communication gaps when CAD data need to connect woth other workflows.

Seamless Design File Management Across CAD Tools

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter sits inside the CAD tools we use and keeps all design files organized. Designers can open, save, and share parts from SolidWorks, NX, Creo or other tools without copying files around.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel heavy for one off tasks. New users need a little training to find things quickly and follow revision rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It stops lost files and version mix ups. Change workflows and revision control mean I know which model is released, which cuts rework and saves design time. Managing BOMs and reusing past designs also speeds up new projects.

Teamcenter usage reviw

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use, work online, and lets everyone talk in real time. It also connects smoothly with CAD files and keeps track of different versions, so managing work in teamcenter becomes much simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
First time users, setting it up can feel a bit hard. Also, some advanced features need a paid plan, which might not be ideal for small teams or startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter fixes problems like messy versions and scattered files. It saves time and reduce mistakes by organizing updates, helping the team work together, and linking design work with purchasing.

Teamcenter Makes Designing Easy

  • November 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter makes it easy for our team to share files, keep everything organized, and let multiple people work on the them without any confusion. The cloud update features is great because we can lock a CAD file while someone is editing it, and unlock when they're done. This really helps our team keep all our files clean and easy to find whenever we need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don't like about Teamcenter is that its really easy for someone to confusion things up by mistake. Once, a student accidentally uploaded their whole desktop into teamcenter, and we couldn't undo It. We had to create a new setup and move everything back again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter to handle all our project data in one place. We have many subteams, and everyone needs easy access to the CAD files and 3D models so they can edit them whenever needed. Teamcenter is simple enough to use and helps us stay organized, so we can focus on the actual project instead of worrying about where the files are.

What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the manufacturing workflows takes some time, but once everything is in place, it works very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It prevents mistakes caused by old drawings or wrong part lists. Engineering changes update quickly, so we spend less time fixing issues and more time running clean builds.

What do you like best about the product?
I value how this system makes it easy to keep all of our company's important files organized in a single location. Another major advantage is how straightforward the implementation was—the process was clearly structured, which made the transition smooth and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a comprehensive solution for our electronic quality management system and is exactly what we needed. I have not encountered any issues or problems so far, and the system provides the flexibility required to adapt to our existing processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly rely on this platform to handle our quality control, change control, parts lifecycle management, and archiving activities. It effectively addresses all the key areas of product lifecycle management and quality management that we require.

  • November 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter is easy to manage at scale. It works well with our existing servers, databases, and identity systems, which makes deployment smooth. The platform supports high availability, cloud options, and strong integrations, so it fits naturally into our infrastructure without extra workarounds.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup takes planning. Designing storage, permissions, and integrations with ERP or MES systems takes time, but once it’s set up, it runs reliably.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It replaced scattered file systems and manual processes with a controlled, secure structure. We now have stable performance, fewer outages, and easier backups. Integrations with other enterprise systems help keep data consistent across departments.

Streamlined Product Management and Onboarding for Growing Teams

  • November 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter has helped our small, frowing company. It keeps all our product documents and feedback in one place, so everything is organized. The best part is that we can easily connect customer requests to the work our team is doing. It also makes it much easier and faster for new employees to understand our product and get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
A better and faster mobile app would really help our field engineers. The main features work well, but i wish it was easier to connect teamcenter with our special CAD software. Also, setting up the custom workflow took more time effort than we expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to strugglr with keeping track of different versions of our hardware prototypes and the change requests that came with them. Teamcenter has really helped us organize everything, and now everyone follows the approved designs. Because of this, we make fewer mistakes and finish our design updates much faster.

One click BOM management

  • November 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter makes our complex product lists and version updates easy. Iit automatically pulls data from CAD, saves time, and prvenents mistakes or duplicate work. Now everyone from designers to buyers works with the same clear and updated information. Its way better than managing everything in confusing spreadsheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, it took me sime time to learn how to use everything and the interface isn’t always very simple it could definitely by easier to use. Its not really difficult, but it would be great if there were built in tip icons inside the platform. You know, like little help symbols we could whenever we want to understanding something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter replaces a lot of our manual work with smart, real time digital tools. It connects directly with our CAD software, so every desgin change updates automatically. Things like pricing, sourcing, and part details get refreshed on their own no need for manual updates. This save time, speed up wor, and keeps our inventory data accurate.

Effortless Organization and Collaboration with Teamcenter

  • November 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Using Teamcenter has made it much easier to keep all our parts, assemblies, and drawings organized. Everything is stored in one place, and its easy to find what we need. It also helps our engineering and purchasing teams work together better. If i need a part, i can request it, and the purchasing team can fast find all the details in teamcenter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the STEP files drawings don’t get sent when i need them to also, when i try to upload large assemblies, solidworks sometimes crashes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, it was hard for everyone in the company to access and save part information in one place. But with teamcenter, that problem is solved now everything is stored in one easy to access location for everyone.
