IT is Code PDM system for Aircraft. We have integration with SAP and it is seamless.

I am Teamcenter Solution Architect, Developer and Administrator honestly Teamcenter can leading PLM tool with all the MCAD and ECAD capabilities.

Out of the box capabilities are limited, customers need to do customization to achieve the business processess.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Teamcenter stores all the digital information and integrates the CAD data. I use TC visualization for flying through large data.

I wish TC Vis could handle massive model visualization.

its good and easy in halding the parts
The vault works!
What do you like best about the product?
It creates a great way to monitor and control the design flow. The vault allows for a check-out/check-in process that gives the design more control. It's great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that has been difficult is getting people on board. We've been used to the "Wild West" of design where everything has been stored on a network, and anyone can go in to make changes. The Teamcenter prevents that, and some people are resistant to change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's creating a better controlled environment for the design. We used to save products on a network where anyone could go in and make changes. The vault prevents that from happening, but still giving the freedom for people to view and see changes as the design progresses.

Wide variety of file formats that are config controlled at a single source.
What do you dislike about the product?
Long process for creating new files to reside in PDM. Caveat: I’m on a legacy program that isn’t using the most up to date version so this is likely improved

Configuration control as to what’s the active engineering documentation being used.

Love the integration it has with multiple tools and once used to it is easy to navigate complex systems.

For my base use I don’t have any issues other than how many screens are open at the same time. We have an older version and I believe it’s fixed in newer versions.

Integration of engineering into operations execution and into process simulate for factory sims.
