Flexibility and the big portfolio and interface

What do you like best about the product?
This feature helps a lot to segregate data from OEM and Supplier meeling all the security requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very clear about the lilcensing model to access the OEM portals, in one case it's OEM's cost and in another it's up to Supplier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main purpose is to enable our multisites collaboration in different regions.

As far as i understand Teamcenter enable us to control almost everything. There are many products that Siemens offer to Custumer with easy integrate with Teamcenter such as supplier collaboration, Mendix,MBSE etc

Teamcenter (AWC 6.3.3) is too slow when compare with PTC windchill

It is being used as a one stop solution for document review / document management as well as integrating PM topics as well

What do you like best about the product?
The new modules and the AWC UI. Teamcenter has evolved a lot from its IMAN and TC Rich client days. AWC is the way to go and Siemens is putting a lot of focus on all the right places.
The strength of TC and NX has been its open API policy. The whole Rich client and NX UI was built off of its own APIs, which has been easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Its error messages sometimes, particularly in OOTB workflow handlers.
TC has to have a good set of REST APIs for good Web based integrations. It has a set of Rest APIs but not well documented and Customer Support suggests not to use. Going forward Teamcenter will have a major drawback if this gap is not addressed.
