A good way to manage your information
What do you like best about the product?
That you can manage all your parts and information and manage your release process. Also there are different ways to do the same function so you can choose the best way to do your task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Is a new product for me and I'm still leraning a new ways to do the tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To manage and release the parts.
Teamcenter can be tricky, but powerful

Active Workspace offers less client install.

REporting is still awful and near impossible to configure.

Parts and document management. Revision control and relations buildng.

What do you like best about the product?
From an IT perspective, I like the various technologies that are used to develop and deploy the solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complications of major upgrades, and the lack of being able to replicate Production to QA for optimal testing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product specification, eBOM and mBOM management, and CAD management. We are also looking at MBSE capabilities and Technical publication arthoring and publishing

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the connectivity it provides for different departments to communicate. Reuse of metadata and files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The agility to quickly adapt to business process changes.

Management of design changes
I really enjoy Active Workspace's performance and capabilities!

I like how Teamcenter and Active Workspace help drive manufacturing processes and allow businesses to manage their products lifecycles.

I tend to dislike the amount of upgrading required to stay current.

Teamcenter helps provide our engineers with a way to collaborate and gain approvals from all levels of the business. This benefits us greatly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to customize the processes and interface based on use case. I like the way groups and roles can be utilized with that as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the biggest downside is the RAC. But I mostly use TC11. I love active workspace and I cant wait for more ability for admins in active workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
routing tasks through workflows has increased productivity and we also like using TC as a sole source of documents and parts.
God user experience and way to manage and link digital product documents.

Control and protect company IP with recognizable state levels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin side and development should usilize the Mendex programing using graphical interface instead of needing to knpw how to write code.

Managing company product IP and release levels. Allowing proper access to the different users and a single source of truth for the documents managed.
Promising product
What do you like best about the product?
I have only worked with Teamcenter for a few months, however it is currently integrated with multiple applications that my company supports. So, receiving and transferring data between the applications is a major benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application can be a bit difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supports work instruction development to support manufacturing for aircraft production.

the convenience to store all the product data. 3D/2D management of part and assembly. Colleborative design for max sharing to streamline the product to market time.
What do you dislike about the product?
huge. Teamcente has been evolved over the past and it becomes a huge software suite with lots of functions. As admin, it takes a lot to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter provide a central place to store data. This is very important in a company environment. And it enable team members to participate in a collaborative environment. 2D/3D design with NX helps engineer have a visual of their ideas at the earliest time. All of these reduce operation time, data get time.
