The product's most valuable features are patch and data management.

The product's web interface and setup process could be better. Also, scalability and stability need to be improved. It could be easier to customize as well.

We have around 80 Siemens PLM TeamCenter customers. They are all medium-level enterprises. I rate its scalability a seven out of ten.

The initial setup could be easier. The deployment took a few weeks to complete. I rate the process a four out of ten.

I rate Siemens PLM TeamCenter an eight on pricing. It is costly for small businesses.
What other advice do I have?
I recommend small businesses to go for another product. Teamcenter is suitable for large companies. Overall, I rate it a seven out of ten.

Teamcenter helps our company stay up to date with Solid Edge files that are all up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a little bit to get used to the new interface as we were used to just using file explorer for everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We aren't duplicating efforts or parts anymore. Our parts are more organized and we're able to quickly access parts based just on meta data searches.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it sets up a relatively simple repository of information that we can store our data and access legacy information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a fan of the Rich-client version of Teamcenter as it constantly is facing cache issues and other issues that habe to do with the local machine storage/memory information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter allows easy access to documents as well as being able to link objects to one another using links. This reduces the amount of number needed to retrive all the data sets necessary to work on a program.

Effective Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter user interface is quite flexible and easy to use once you understand the concepts and use the application for some time. The ability to manage many different types of data objects in the same repository is quite powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The response time of Teamcenter when embedded within applications is quite slow. This is not helpful at times and affects the overall productivity. Also, administering the application is quite difficult for users without experience.

Manage various types of systems engineering artifacts across the whole organizations is quite helpful for communication.
