System is extremely easy to use and has many CAD integrations

Sometimes upgrading can be a little bit longer process but that's typical of enterprise systems.

It supports with CAD data and document management along with revisioning, lifecycle management, and collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciated the range of options and flexibility available for organizing my inventory in a way that fit my needs, with very few limitations. This made managing products much simpler for me. I also found it easy to create an item catalog and to handle bills of materials with a lot of flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered any issues while using this platform. It is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to manage product data. I have no complaints; it has proven to be helpful for handling stock and inventory, as well as supporting manufacturing operations.

This tool has proven to be extremely helpful for collaborating with colleagues on product data management, as well as for sharing exclusive information among different company departments. Teamcenter sits inside the CAD tools we use and keeps all design files organized. Designers can open, save, and share parts from SolidWorks, NX, Creo or other tools without copying files around.

It can feel heavy for one off tasks. New users need a little training to find things quickly and follow revision rules.

It stops lost files and version mix ups. Change workflows and revision control mean I know which model is released, which cuts rework and saves design time. Managing BOMs and reusing past designs also speeds up new projects.

Some users may require additional and in some cases an extensive training in order to understand how to effectively apply the platform in their product lifecycle management.

We needed a platform that brought together all of our teams involved in product design and generation from engineering, customer service, IT among others and with Teamcenter, we have exactly that and it has worked immensely to towards our benefit.
