Good vision and evolution - Amplify keeps improving with customer feedback
What do you like best about the product?
I like the vision behind the Amplify portfolio, its strong evolution over the last years, and the way Axway actively listens to and incorporates customer feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, recurring quality issues and fragmented integration between products such as Amplify Engage and Amplify API Management created unnecessary friction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a large organization, Amplify provides a scalable foundation for APIs. It improves visibility, governance, and reuse, helping make APIs easier to find, access, and use across the enterprise.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Amplify Platform simple to configure and leverage. It's a one-stop shop to discover and request access to data products from multiple gateways. I like how developers can publish APIs, which the Amplify agent discovers and groups into assets, then publishes as products to the marketplace. The initial setup was straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm waiting for future releases to support MCPs and Agents.

Amplify Platform serves as a one-stop shop allowing me to discover and request access to data products from multiple gateways effortlessly.
Effortless API Management Across Cloud and On-Prem
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the platform simplifies managing APIs across different environments, especially when dealing with hybrid or multi-cloud systems, while still offering strong control and visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve feels steep at first, and setting up integrations and configurations can be complex, especially for teams without much API management experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplify solves the challenge of managing APIs across cloud and on-prem systems by giving a centralized way to govern, secure, and monitor them. This helps by improving visibility, speeding up deployments, and reducing manual overload.
Empowers AI-Driven Data Insights, Needs Faster Training
What do you like best about the product?
I like the data processing and process automation capabilities of the Amplify Platform. It helps me collect comprehensive and right data for business needs. It can connect data to algorithms effectively, recognize sequence, and give correct predictions. Training it for the future adds value. I found the initial setup nice and easy, as it guides you step-by-step in collecting data and making predictions, suggesting the right tool till deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it takes some time to train for the right output. It would be better if I could collect old data beforehand and prepare solutions based on real-time needs, instead of it getting trained at runtime. Also, learning at runtime for new scenarios would improve it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplify Platform to connect data to algorithms, process data, automate processes, and train it for future predictions. It helps collect comprehensive data for business needs and recognize sequences to make correct predictions.
Robust API Management and Security Made Simple
What do you like best about the product?
API Management and Gateway capabilities provide strong feasibility by simplifying end-to-end API lifecycle management while ensuring consistent enforcement of security standards across all APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be valuable to explore the availability of out-of-the-box connectors & AI features offered by the API Gateway for integration with SaaS platforms and identity management solutions and assess whether these capabilities are already supported.

Easy to Use and Great Support, But Upgrades Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Once policies have been added, it is easy to use. Customer support is quick initial response, and the product is our entry point for any requests coming into the organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrading the product tends to be a tedious process, often accompanied by numerous issues. We have consistently struggled to complete upgrades within our planned timeframes, as problems seem to arise each time. Additionally, Axway support can take quite a while to deliver a solution, which adds to our frustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling APIs for open communication with external partners and customers. Enables any requests coming into the organisation to be validated and scanned for virus, etc
Stable, Secure, and Effortless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
It has been operating ins a stable and secured manner supporting large volume of interactions. We recently move to container version enabling us to uplift on our CI/CD and platform automation objectives
What do you dislike about the product?
Architecture is still quirky and unstable. When platform related issues are identified its often difficult to resolve quickly and support for these issues are slow to come

Great Documentation and Support, Smooth Migration Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Axway Amplify Platform offers easily accessible and well-structured documentation. Migration processes are clear and straightforward, reducing complexity. The platform provides excellent support with responsive and helpful teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although Axway API Gateway is feature-rich, there are notable challenges. Log management under high-traffic conditions can be problematic, as logs frequently roll over, making issue investigation difficult. To maintain comprehensive log retention, organizations often need to implement an additional solution such as Elasticsearch, which introduces extra complexity and cost if the organization does not already have such a system in place.

Managing numerous internal web services can be complex, but Axway API Gateway makes it simple and secure to expose them to external partners. With robust, out-of-the-box security features and the flexibility to tailor policies to your organization’s unique requirements, you can ensure compliance and protect sensitive data—all while maintaining peace of mind.
Centralizes Data, But Has a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how well-built and well-structured the Amplify Platform is, which enhances my ability to centralize project data effectively. I love its ability to replace scattered spreadsheets, project tools, and manual reporting, streamlining our processes significantly. Additionally, I find it flexible and configurable to our specific KPIs, which allows us to tailor the platform according to our unique requirements and maximize its utility in our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Amplify Platform complex to navigate at first, which can be daunting. Specifically, the configuration layers around benefits modeling, dependencies, and reporting hierarchies feel particularly challenging to grasp. Additionally, initial setup wasn't entirely straightforward, as I would rate the ease of setup as 6 out of 10.

I use Amplify Platform to centralize project data, eliminating scattered spreadsheets, project tools, and manual reporting, thereby streamlining our data processes.
