What do you like best about the product?
I personally like Cequence Security a lot for its excellent threat detection features. The simplicity with which the software can be used is simply impressive because it allows one to monitor and deal with possible security threats. As for its integration with the current tools, such as our SIEM solution, it was smooth which provided for a broad level of security management. We have included quite many features like automatic threat containing and rich analytics which has boosted our security system tremendously.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cequence Security has some drawbacks and one of them is that it reacts by sending out false positives and this leads to alert and interruption. This has impacted our operations in a manner that has stretched the concentration away from where it is supposed to be. Also, the first time setting up in the networks was not smooth at all as it was time consuming and tiresome to do it initially right. It is a highly flexible tool with a lot of features, but the confusing interface make it the best tool to do the actual work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cequence Security is helping us address our primary concern of identifying and dealing with security threats efficiently. This has been very advantageous to us since it has enhanced the safeguarding of our data and the minimization of cyber attacks. The functionalities as well as their compatibility with our current systems have enhanced our security processes. It has had a positive impact on our team, because it offers specific and concrete recommendations and reduces all the processes associated with threat handling.

What do you like best about the product?
Cequence Security transformed our web application and API security with its robust features and intuitive interface. Their advanced techniques thwart sophisticated attacks, while frequent updates protect against evolving threats. Easy yet powerful, Cequence Security provided hassle free, top notch security. We were quickly working with minimal training needed. Cequence Security commitment to continuous improvement gave us peace that we're always guarded by the latest protections. Overall, adding their solution was a choice that greatly helped our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cequence Security provides useful insights but predefined reports don't always show wanted data views. Setup docs were enough but more example could have helped new users. Small weaknesses are nothing compared to the powerful monitoring and intuitive dashboard greatly improving risk visibility and streamlining investigations. Continued work to customize reports and help new admins would make an excellent platform fit even more needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cequence Security has helped address web app and API security problems. Using behavioral data and machine learning, it recognizes and solves advanced risks like website attacks, API flaws, and harmful bots. This considerably lowered dangers like data leaks, service interruptions, and reputational harm, making sure continued operations and shielding digital possessions. The product's superior threat identification skills have been very useful in solving essential security problems.

What I find truly special about Cequence Security in my cybersecurity role is how it alters its choices to suit infrastructure necessities. This adaptability with small fake positives guarantees genuine users experience no interruptions from protection making certain smooth online experience while repulsing aggressors.
What do you dislike about the product?
One place Cequence Security could get better is in how they teach users and write papers. While their tools are strong, making the advanced things easier for all people to use with complete teaching programs and clearer papers would make it easier to use. Giving more things for learning and help would let our team use all the good things Cequence Security can do, making our security stronger in the best way and making sure all people on our team are good at dealing with and stopping threats.

Cequence Security helps greatly in my role by preventing tricky bot assaults and keeping coders from infiltrating our frameworks. It catches and halts these dangers promptly, implying we don't have as numerous security issues and our client's data remains ensured. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Cequence solution renders attackers futile, unsuccessful, and fatigued, even against the most persistent adversaries.
Cequence's bot security product is top-notch
What do you like best about the product?
From PoC to post-sales support, the team at Cequence has been top notch. We implemented their bot security solution and have been extremely pleased with the results. The best part about the bot solution is that it sits transparently inline and doesn't require any javascript. Not only does this make deployment easy, it makes the product nearly impossible for potential bot operators to detect and re-tool for. We use it to stop ATO's as well as general site-scraping. It has a very low false-positive rate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI does take a bit of time to learn, but once you get over the learning curve it allows you to do whatever you'd like to do with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ATO attacks have been almost completely mitigated. Once the bot operators learn that you're a tough target, you'll find that they target your site less frequently.
Bot protection tool/solution
What do you like best about the product?
We are using the SaaS solution and this was one of the requerments from our side for a tool like this. You have a team of specialist there who can help you with creating your policies and rules, their knowledge is amazing. It's very easy to start and to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some latency in detection and response - the rules will have to "learn" before they start blocking or mitigating the traffic. Cequence is working on a CAPTCHA-like solution but it is till not available
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many. We had a big issue with account takover or extortion type of attacks and they are now successfully mitigated. Of course, the bad guys will always try to do something else, or to improve their toolsngs, but you have Cequence Prime to look at them and ack on time.
Very solid WAF solution, saved hours of our work
What do you like best about the product?
We use CQ's policies, bot mitigation and WAF features extensively and meanwhile migrated from the self deployed defenders to the SaaS solution. Need to admit, migration was exceptionally well done and was almost invisible for us as consumers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Initial period of setting up the correct policies is a really tough time, but that's what you experiece with every WAF solution. No complains from my side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cequence cut off the massive part of malicious traffic and made our life much easier and safer. Of course, it is not the easy solution, but WAFs are never easy and require a lot of setting and attention.
Cequence is a good solution for monitoring traffic.

The Cequence Support team is great to work with and have solutions. The SaaS aspect allows for ease of implementation and ease of use.
