Effortless Mac Management with Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Iru for managing my Mac devices with ease. It allows me to do zero touch deployments, automate updates, and keep the devices secure for SOC2 compliance. I use EDR and vulnerability management too. Iru is so easy to use and I like it so much better than Jamf because it works right out of the box, which is great for me as a department of one. Setting up Iru took less than a day and the interface is so easy and seamless. The Drata integration connects to Iru and helps automate software update policies and offboarding by automatically locking devices when an employee leaves. Iru makes my process for SOC2 compliance seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see them implement more AI features or use AI to help us automate more software update policies.

Simple, Fast Way to See Needed App Updates and Onboard Employees
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to use and how easy it is to see which applications need updates. It’s also helpful for employees to get up to speed, since it lets us install all of our required software solutions quickly and without much hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s a little clunky to update apps through the Iru tooltip, so I tend to treat it more like a to-do list and then go in and manually update what needs to be updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me understand which applications are available to me as an employee, and it also manages regular software updates so I stay compliant.
Mac-Native Expertise with Expanding Windows and Identity Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
A Mac-native platform with deep expertise in the Apple ecosystem, but I appreciate that they are branching out into Windows and Identity as well. End user onboarding is a breeze as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d love to see better controls for application management, such as support for Santa.

Scaling and growing our agency and protecting our endpoints.

Transforms Device Management with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Iru simplifies installing multiple applications and makes tracking and locating iPads so efficient. The time-saving aspect of installing updates and new programs is incredible—it only takes 10-15 minutes instead of days or weeks. Plus, I don’t have to manage separate Apple accounts on each device, which is a huge relief. Everything has been working great for us, and the initial setup took just minutes. I really wish I had started using Iru years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding can be tedious on the first set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iru simplifies installing applications, tracking, and updating iPads, saving time by making updates take minutes instead of days, and eliminating the need to manage Apple accounts on each device.
Seamless Payroll ERP Integration and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with our payroll ERP and the ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The enrollment screen can be difficult to understand at times whether a device have been enrolled or is still "pending", this could be an issue with our last MDM, Meraki though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing us to push apps/updates and track our 200+ mobile devices.
Easy-to-Navigate Dashboard with Quick, Helpful Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the easy-to-navigate dashboard, and I appreciate the quick response times when I have questions or need support through their iru support chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a more structured onboarding experience, similar to Jamf. Specifically, it would be helpful to have guided setup steps, clearer documentation on key features, and more intuitive in-app instructions or walkthroughs. Right now, it can take some trial and error to understand how everything fits together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iru helps us manage and keep all of our software up to date, making sure everything is running smoothly across devices. It also supports our onboarding process for new staff and residents by helping ensure their devices are properly set up and ready to use. This saves time, reduces manual work, and helps maintain consistency and reliability across our systems
Mac-Friendly MDM with Seamless Apple Business Manager Setup and Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
Iru is clearly built with Mac environments in mind, and that’s been a huge win for us. As a fully remote workers’ comp insurance company, we needed something that simply works without a lot of overhead—and Iru delivers. The MDM capabilities are robust while still being easy to manage, and the interface is clean and intuitive.
Its connection with Apple Business Manager makes deploying apps and provisioning devices incredibly straightforward, which is especially helpful for remote onboarding. I’m also able to manage and deploy Microsoft 365 apps across our fleet seamlessly, without friction. On top of that, their team went a step further and helped us build custom scripts to enforce additional tools like remote screen-sharing software and cloud storage sync utilities. That flexibility, along with the hands-on support, was genuinely appreciated—particularly during our onboarding process.
Overall, onboarding new users and devices is very smooth, and their chat and tech support are fast, helpful, and knowledgeable. That makes a real difference in day-to-day operations.

What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to complain about so far. As with any platform, there are always small features I wish were included in the price, but nothing that has impacted our day-to-day operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iru has completely transformed how we manage IT for a fully remote team. I’m the only IT resource supporting ~50 employees, and before Iru, everything was manual: screen-sharing into individual machines to troubleshoot issues, fix user mistakes, run updates, and make sure devices stayed compliant with our standards. It was time-consuming and not scalable.
Provisioning was especially painful. If a machine failed, building a replacement from scratch to meet our specifications and security requirements could take an entire day. That simply wasn’t sustainable as we grew.
With Iru, especially combined with Apple Business Manager, we can now deploy, remediate, and manage devices in a fraction of the time. Devices can be configured quickly and consistently, policies are enforced automatically, and I no longer have to constantly “check in” on every machine.
As we scaled from 15 to 50 employees in about a year, Iru was a true lifesaver. It allowed us to grow without needing to expand IT headcount, while also improving consistency, security, and overall efficiency.

Highly Responsive, Solution-Oriented Support That Drove a Successful Outcome
What do you like best about the product?
Alexandria was instrumental in structuring an agreement that aligned all parties needs. She was highly responsive, solution-oriented, and consistently pushed the process forward to a successful outcome.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were no meaningful drawbacks in the process. Communication was consistently fast and clear, and the team’s responsiveness kept momentum high and removed any potential bottlenecks, enabling a smooth and efficient path to completion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iru is solving our macOS endpoint management challenges by centralizing control, standardizing configurations, and streamlining device provisioning and security enforcement. This has reduced manual overhead, improved compliance, and given us better visibility across our fleet, ultimately saving time and lowering operational risk.
