What do you like best about the product?
I usually don't write reviews, but I think Adaptive is a standout product that needs more attention in this space. I have run security awareness at the past 4 organizations I have been a part of and this is by far the best one I have used. I am a former Wombat customer now Proofpoint Security Essentials, Knowbe4 and PhishMe customer. Adaptive is very focused on customer feedback and improving their product, with their recent relationship with Conan O'Brian just makes their content all that much better. Lastly, they were the only tool that really focused on the use of AI attacks and what to do about them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to identify anything that I dislike about Adaptive, there are some small usability things but nothing that impacts the overall experience of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a Phishing Simulation and Security Awareness Training Platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the innovation and intuitiveness of Adaptive Security. It's super easy for the teams to use and super fast to set up. I also love the preconfigured campaigns, making it really easy to allow custom campaigns and integrate deep fake technologies and brand impersonations into our phishing campaigns to make them more realistic. It has really ramped up the realism of our phishing campaigns to something more akin to what our adversaries might use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only feedback in terms of what can be improved is there's some of their feature sets that are still yet to be integrated into GovCloud or GCCH environments. But this is a limitation of almost every vendor, and it's just a limitation of working in those environments, but it should be noted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Adaptive Security for phishing simulations and training, introducing advanced phishing concepts like deep fake phishing, enhancing realism, and strengthening awareness against similar threats.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Adaptive's training really upgraded the organization's awareness of various Phishing and Malware efforts.

I don't have anything negative to say, It has been a very good program for us.

Lack of training left a big gap in our cybersecurity stance. Using Adaptive has provided a giant leap forward.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the AI Assistance in Adaptive Security to be a huge win for us because it helps build custom training modules. This feature allows us to save time and create relevant training tailored to our exact needs, rather than using off-the-shelf modules. Additionally, I'm very happy with the current state of the platform and excited to see what new features will be added in the future. The Executive Risk feature is incredibly valuable. Even for personal use, I've used it to identify accounts I never knew existed and didn't sign up for. The setup process was very easy, and they provided excellent onboarding support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think, with AI-built modules, it's just a matter of time before the models and data improve, and along with that, our turnaround time for rolling out training will improve. It would be great if they offered a bit more customization for the modules' look and feel—for example, more editing options to enhance visual appeal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adaptive Security keeps us secure and updated on threats, allowing us to customize training based on the current landscape. The AI Assistance for building tailored modules saves us time compared to off-the-shelf options.

Easy Training Creation with No Prior Skills Needed

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating a training from scratch. I did not need any prior skills to be able to create solid training.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not like how buggy the group setting is within a campaign build. If I were to initiate a campaign, everytime I started to create a group I ran into an issue. I had to create the group prior to the campaign to flow without issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to create compliance training with tracking features. Prior I was holding manual trainings in person. Adaptive allows me to automate a lot of the trainings I held yearly.

What do you like best about the product?
We use Adaptive Security primarily for the training modules, but there are many additional features that sold us on Adaptive. I definitely like the breakdown of the training modules better with Adaptive, compared to our previous solution. The platform feels like a real upgrade; it's modern and intuitive. The branding and customization are great. The management features are outstanding, and I really love the dashboards and notifications. The product feels polished, and we get advanced features such as deepfake, smishing, and AI capabilities. The initial setup was very easy, and we were up and running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
New product rollouts require some adaptation on our end to keep pace, but it's ultimately a good thing for our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adaptive Security replaced an older solution, improving employee engagement and awareness, and offers advanced features like deepfake, smishing, and AI capabilities that didn't exist in legacy products. They are addressing current and emerging challenges that many organizations are facing.

The advanced phishing templates from vendors we use look incredibly realistic, which is awesome for testing our employees.
The AI persona is very cool, even to just play around with. Adaptive is clearly at the forefront of these threats.

Not being able to edit the training notifications, but the Adaptive team is working on implementing this feature now.

The ability to customize all training offerings in the platform to tailor it to our organization and the ability to create custom training within the platform rather than needing to use another service.

What do you like best about the product?
They consistently roll out new features that keep pace with the evolving threat landscape, something we haven't seen from other vendors, if at all. It's clear the product team is genuinely invested in staying ahead of attackers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The phishing test feature has a lot more difficult tests than easy ones. Some users may get caught off guard by the harder tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From a usability standpoint, the platform is remarkably intuitive and easy to use—unlike our previous vendor. Support was also fast and responsive, which saved us time. With the old vendor, users weren’t engaged and were turned off by the training, but with Adaptive it felt more “fun” and engaging.

The Adaptive platform was easy to get up and running.
Since we brought on Adaptive, our organization’s training completion rate has increased significantly.
Adaptive Triage’s auto-classification of spam and malicious email reports has been a great addition. It has noticeably reduced the time our helpdesk spends classifying reported emails, which has made the overall process much more efficient.

What do you dislike about the product?
In the Security Awareness Training although the interactive AI modules are great the rest of the training has a bit of a powerpoint feel to it. People like more video and less slides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The user and manager training reminders have dramatically increased our participation rate in Security Awareness training. The automated tools for classifying reported spam and malicious emails have also dramatically cut down the time the helpdesk spends reviewing reports and getting back to the reporter.
The AI-generated content we can create ourselves is another nice feature. For example, when we roll out a new corporate policy, Adaptive can take that information, generate a training or informational presentation, and collect confirmation that employees have received and acknowledged the policy. This can be done in minutes compared with the old way we handled it.
