Bain & Company

Bain & Company sought out a way to rationalize their client’s diverse, fragmented application portfolio as well as modernize key legacy systems. Bain utilized CAST Highlight to rapidly analyze source code from 26 applications that were candidates for modernization, determining the health and cloud readiness for each. CAST Highlight enabled Bain to complete its assessment and generate a modernization roadmap in a few days rather than several weeks.

Turner Broadcasting System

Turner Broadcasting System, a global media company, used RISC CloudScape to optimize its on-premises environment to migrate to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The scan revealed 1,000 servers running, but not being utilized. It was identified in one instance that 114 servers weren’t active, at all. They were able to shut down these servers to realize immediate savings. RISC also enabled Turner to analyze their subdivisions and break down the entire migration into smaller, optimized parts, leading to successful migrations.
