Oracle Database@AWS lets you migrate your Oracle Exadata workloads, including those running on Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), to Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure or Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure within AWS. It enables easier and quicker migrations with minimal to no database or application changes while maintaining full feature availability and architecture compatibility.
Customers can establish low-latency network connections between Oracle Database@AWS and applications deployed in AWS, including on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS), and Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS).
Oracle Database@AWS enables analytics and machine learning by integrating directly with Amazon Redshift through zero-ETL to unify data across AWS and Oracle. Further, you can integrate with AWS generative AI services to accelerate innovation.
You can use Amazon S3 for database backups, which is designed to provide 11 9s of durability. Oracle Database@AWS also supports integrations to AWS services like AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS CloudFormation, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon VPC Lattice, AWS CloudTrail, and Amazon EventBridge. With Oracle Database@AWS, you are able to benefit from a unified experience for collaborative purchasing, management, operations, and support.
