Viprinet Virtual VPN Hub - SDWAN and WAN Bonding Controller (BYOL)

Product Overview

A Viprinet Hub acts as a central gateway, WAN Bonding and SDWAN controller for a network of Viprinet routers. Viprinet Hubs often are implemented as a rack-mounted Hardware device.

As an alternative to using a physical VPN Hub, Viprinet offers virtualized Multichannel VPN Hub instances. The Viprinet Virtual VPN Hub is a pure software application that works just like a physical hardware VPN hub and can be operated as an Amazon AWS Cloud service or as VMware virtual machine on any existing server worldwide.

This is a BYOL service - you only pay Amazon for the instance type you are running, but you need to bring a Viprinet Virtual VPN Hub license, which is available as a subscription through our partner network world-wide.
The subscription is based on the number of active tunnels and VPN clients.

It is important to select an instance type fitting your bandwidth needs. The capacity for each type listed here is the sum of the bandwidths of all your VPN tunnels. Which means: If you have 10 sites that each have 15 MBit/s of bonded WAN Bandwidth, you need to select an instance type that can at least do 150 MBit/s.

Here are our recommendation, based on the total bonding capacity:

* t2.micro: up to 50 MBit/s
* t2.small: up to 100 MBit/s
* t2.medium: up to 250 MBit/s
* t2.large: up to 400 MBit/s
* m4.large: up to 450 MBit/s
* m4.xlarge: up to 750 Mbit/s
* m4.2xlarge: up to 850 Mbit/s
* m4.4xlarge: up to 1 Gbit/s
