Product Overview

Philter identifies and removes sensitive information, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI), from natural language text. Using state of the art natural language processing technologies, Philter identifies information such as persons names, unique identifiers, credit card numbers, and zip codes. Philter can replace identified sensitive values with realistic but random values.

Configurable filter profiles provide full control over the types of PII and PHI that are identified and how the identified values are replaced. Conditional logic permits replacing values based on attributes such as zip code population and the content of sensitive values.

Philter's API provides an endpoint for submitting raw text and receiving back the filtered text. Open source API clients are available .
