This is our latest CentOS 7 LAMP Stack AMI that includes CentOS7 Linux, Apache HTTPD web server, MySQL/MariaDB database, and PHP/Perl/Python programming languages. Webmin, one of the most used free web based system configuration tools for system administrators, is included as well.

LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (or Perl/Python). Together, they provide a proven set of software for delivering high-performance web applications. Each component contributes essential capabilities to the stack.

In our CentOS 7 LAMP Stack AMI, root login is disabled and only the 'centos' user is allowed to connect using ssh public key authentication. CentOS7 security updates available at the release date are included.
