Overview
OBS Studio is a recording and live streaming software. Written in C, C++, and Qt, OBS provides real-time source and device capture, scene composition, encoding, recording, and broadcasting. OBS Studio uses Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) for transmission of data, which can be sent to any RTMP supporting destination, including many presets for streaming websites such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, and Facebook.
OBS Studio provides you with powerful and easy to use configuration options. Add new Sources, duplicate existing ones, and easily adjust their properties. Intuitive audio mixer with per-source filters such as noise gate, noise suppression, and gain. Take full control with VST plugin support.
Tidal Media Inc. presents ready-to-run OBS - Live Streaming Server for Windows 2019 optimized for AWS deployment!
Highlights
- The main user interface has five available sections: scenes, sources, audio mixer, transitions, and controls. Scenes are groups of sources like live and recorded video, text and audio.
- The mixer panel allows the user to mute the audio, adjust the volume through virtual faders and apply effects by pressing the cogwheel next to the mute button.
- The control panel has options for starting/stopping a stream or recording, a button to transform OBS to a more professional Studio Mode, a button for opening the settings menu and a button to exit the program.
