    Use Cases

    • Financial Institutions - Use Places Location Data to verify merchant locations & provide additional enhancements and reporting to customers on their financial statements. Providing clearer financial statements to customers can save significant operational costs related to fielding fraud inquiries and reduce overall fraud claim costs. Financial Institutions also use the information for analytics and locators. Locators refers to any “find location” function a Financial Institution might have in their app or website. The most frequent example is finding ATM locations.

    • Processors - Use Places Location Data to enhance their reporting, statements and customer support services, as they frequently provide services directly to financial institutions.

    • Mapping Companies - Use Places Location Data for keeping their maps up to date, identifying in-business merchants, deciding whether businesses should be removed or added to their maps (for closed and new businesses) or if a business is seasonal

    • Search Engines - Use Places Location Data to provide more customized, prioritized results for local searches. They integrate our insights with their own, private algorithms

    • Recommendation Engines - Use Places Location Data to help validate a business’ success or defend against negative reviews. For example, if a merchant has poor online reviews but continually gets frequent repeat business from locals, they can use our data to help prioritize a business based on actual trends at the location. Data needs to be integrated with their internal algorithms

    • Real Estate Analytics Companies - Use Places Location Data to augment their site selection algorithms

    • Municipalities - Use Places Location Data in combination with our retail spend insights for town & city planning. Our insights enable cities to identify key areas of commerce or growth and the impact of external factors on their city’s merchants

    • Governments, Institutions or Supplier Enablement Companies - Use Places Location Data to maintain merchant databases. They can use our cleansed, aggregated data to validate & enhance their own databases

    • Retailers - Use Places Location Data to identify areas that represent expansion opportunities to help inform site selection.

    • CPGs - Use Places Location Data to identify new partners and merchants to sell to

    • Telecoms - Use Places Location Data to identify areas requiring investments in infrastructure
