FinOps Managed services incorporates FinOps assessment, implementation and setting up FinOps Office to setup budgeting, cost reporting, optimization recommendation on IAAS and PaaS services using AWS native tools AWS cost explorer, Cost hub, AWS compute optimizer. It also provides automation script to resize the virtual machine, auto shutdown, usages of spot instances, resizing the AWS services SKUs based on usages and scalability.
Overview
Finops Managed service will perform following activities.
- FinOps Assessment : It would be 2 weeks assessment performed using AWS native services and deploying the market leading FinOps tools. It captures the existing data and provides the recommendation for different business units /aws accounts.
- FinOps Office Setup: It would setup centralized FinOps office who will be responsible to define best practices for AWS workloads and services. It will also define the processes to implement the recommendation.
- FinOps Implementation: As part of this FinOps recommendation would be implemented in phased manner after discussing with respective workload/applications owners.
