The Cloud Security Posture Assessment helps customers understand their current cloud security posture. Within the shared responsibility model the customer is responsible for the configuration of the cloud and the workloads that run in the cloud. It can be a challenge for organizations to gain complete visibility of their cloud environment and the relevant security controls especially in complex cloud environments. This is where the Cloud Security Posture Assessment can help.
The Cloud Security Posture assessment covers these areas:
- Compromised compute instances
- Suspicious network traffic flows
- Vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in your storage buckets
- Sensitive data exposure
- Malware
- Compliance deviations
Upon completion of the assessment, a detailed report will be provided that includes:
- Misconfigurations within cloud resources
- Data stores containing sensitive information
- Data stores with content infected with malware
- Open alerts by severity, to help prioritize actions
- Suspicious data flows and user behavior
- Compliance adherence against industry standards
- Recommendations to remediate issues found in your AWS environment
