This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for support with managing and maintaining its underlying components (database configuration, users and permissions, SSL certificates, etc). The MediaWiki software is used by tens of thousands of websites and thousands of companies and organizations. It powers Wikipedia. MediaWiki helps you collect and organize knowledge and make it available to people. It's powerful, multilingual, free and open, extensible, customizable, reliable.
Disclaimer: whilst it is possible to register on this application by using just a username and a password, its highly encouraged to add your email address as well as configure a mail delivery service (for example AWS SES) so in case users loose their password they have a quick way to recover their accounts. An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Create an instance and open its IPv4 address on your browser. You should see a message that MediaWiki was successfully. You can now login using the administrator account or create a normal one. The username for the administrator account is "admin" and its password is the id of the created instance (including the "i-" prefix).
Disclaimer: this application requires you to register using an email address. You can also, optionally, add your first and last name on your account settings.
