The Elastifile Cloud File System (ECFS) is a scalable, enterprise-grade shared file system that provides high-performance, POSIX-compliant NFS file services.
ECFS provides enterprise-class storage features including: Deduplication, Compression, Snapshots, Cross-region replication, and Quotas. With ECFS, users can leverage AWS to shift, burst, accelerate, and/or scale NFS applications and workflows, with no application refactoring required.
Two performance tiers are offered as part of the Elastifile marketplace solution:

1. EBS tier - A high-performance solution using scale-out aggregation of EBS disks. Minimal ECFS system is 3 instances of this type
2. NVME SSD Tier - A high-performance solution using scale out aggregation of NVME SSD disks. Minimal ECFS system is 3 instances of this type
   As a scale-out file system, aggregate file system capacity can grow to PBs and aggregate performance can grow to millions of IOPS and 10's of GB/s throughput.
