An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Connect through Remote Desktop Client to the machine using the administrator credentials. You must retrieve the password from EC2 console, because it is generated by AWS.
Xtract Universal is already installed and running with a trial license. You can connect to the server with the Xtract Universal Designer, which you can find on the Desktop.
The webserver is preconfigured with a self-signed tls certificate and can be accessed by opening a browser to https://xtractuniversal:8165/ from within the rdp session.

Updates: Theobald Software provides access to new versions (Updates) of the contractual software used by the customer. Updates are an improved version of the software or parts thereof (including bug fixes and patches), which replace existing and in particular defective functionalities of the contractual software, without representing an extension. Warranty: Theobald Software warrants that the contractual software shall operate free from defects according to the Online Help.
SAP-Compatibility: Theobald Software guarantees compatibility of the contractual software to all prospective SAP releases including service patches, provided that the SAP release or service patch is free of errors.
