AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run this preconfigured Jenkins image on. Pricing scales with the compute, memory, storage, or GPU profile of the instance you choose. General-purpose families (t2, t3, m5), compute-optimized (c5), memory-optimized (r5, x1e), storage-optimized (i3, d2), and accelerated families (g4dn, p3, inf1) are all available. Larger instance sizes within a family cost more per hour because they provide more resources. You run only the instances you select, and billing stops when they stop. No fixed term or upfront commitment applies.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get on the EC2 instance I choose for this hourly rate?
You get a preconfigured Jenkins installation running on Windows Server 2019. The image comes ready to use with port 8080 open for the admin URL. You access it by RDP, then open the Jenkins page in a browser. Jenkins itself is included; the instance supplies the compute, memory, and storage.
Am I charged when I stop or pause the Jenkins instance?
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. When you stop the instance, the hourly charge stops too. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached disks, but the software meter counts running time only. Billing has no fixed term or upfront commitment.
Why do larger instance sizes in the same family cost more per hour?
Each instance size maps to a set amount of vCPUs, memory, storage, and in some families GPU or network capacity. Larger sizes provide more of these resources, so their hourly rate is higher. You pick the size matching your build workload and pay the rate tied to that size.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
