AuditSSH is an application developed for Linux-based systems that aims to fill the trusted external access gap by acting as a secure and monitored gateway that maintainers can use to gain access to the requested systems without compromising their integrity.

The audit trail generated by the maintainer is stored in a form amenable to further processing. This enables the real-time "playback" of a given log of activities - one of the key features of this application - as well as other proactive measures (including but not limited to automated scanning for malicious user behaviour).

AuditSSH can also be integrated with an existing Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) infrastructure or serve as a monitoring and alerting system in its own right.
