Overview

As you move forward on your Gen AI journey foundations need to be laid to enable sustainable scale. POC’s/MVP’s are great for generating excitement and inspiring customers to think ‘big’ But without consulting on the bigger picture, POV’s will not scale into production, and teams will struggle to operationalise.

Our approach Is to use ideation and discovery stages to create a roadmap that covers foundations, uplift and build. An iterative approach may be taken to accelerate use case delivery whilst addressing the other layers.

Step 1: Land - find the right problem to solve and find the right solution to solve, solving the POC problem:

  • Identify the high value LLM use cases in your organisation together with business users
  • Assess feasibility and risks of productionising these LLM use cases in your organisation
  • Develop pathway to productionisation, including pilot to proof value
  • Run pilot (develop, test, review, improve) to build the business case and demonstrate value
  • Prepare technical architecture and workbench for delivery
  • Review of generative AI security vulnerabilities

Step 2: Stand - deliver the solution right & Train the team to maintain the solution:

  • Deployment of API-based (e.g. via Bedrock) or open-sourced LLM on AWS
  • Fine-tuning and prompt engineering to maximise model performance and minimise cost
  • Set-up MLOps best practice framework including technical tools for monitoring, error and feedback handling, and security/privacy in Sagemaker
  • End-to-end performance testing and evaluation based on business requirements and ethical framework
  • Review of generative AI security vulnerabilities
  • Deploy into production

Step 2: Approximate timeline with Mantel Group 6-16 weeks

Step 3 - Expand - focuses on refining the AI model based on user feedback

  • The solution is optimised further to improve performance and deliver enhanced results.
  • Techniques to improve performance (e.g. LoRA fine-tuning)
  • Ensures the solution not only meets the initially defined use case but also evolves over time, adapting to changing business needs and continuously enhancing its value proposition.
