Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Running CData Sync in EC2 is easy. Simply launch a new Sync AMI from EC2, and configure the EC2 instance type, instance details, volume, tags, and security group. The last step of the process will prompt you to create a new key-pair, or select an existing one.
Once the instance has been launched, it will be listed in your EC2 running instances. You can then access Sync through your browser at the URL: https://<instance_public_DNS>
In order to log-in, the default username is "admin", and the password is the instance's randomly generated Instance-ID prefixed with 'Sync24:'. For example, 'Sync24:i-1234'. After agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you will be able to create connections and configure your sync jobs. For advanced configurations, refer to the documentation or contact syncsupport@cdata.com .
