Overview
This is a repackaged open-source software product wherein additional charges apply for technical support and maintenance by Apps4Rent. Apache Tomcat is a free and open-source implementation of the Jakarta Servlet, Jakarta Expression Language, and WebSocket technologies. It provides a "pure Java" HTTP web server environment in which Java code can also run that's why we can call it a Java web application server.

- This software does not store any sensitive customer information.
- This software does not require any type of data encryption configuration.
- programmatic system credentials and cryptographic keys are not required for this product.
- The Apache Tomcat web server is successfully installed and runs as a Windows Service automatically when the system boots. To Check if Apache Tomcat service is running. Follow the steps below to ensure that Tomcat is started as a Windows service.
- Open the Start menu and search for Services.
- Select the Services result.
- In the Services window, locate the Apache Tomcat service. The Status column indicates whether the service is running or not. Start or stop the service using the buttons in the toolbar or by pressing Stop or Restart on the left side of the service list.
- To access the Tomcat welcome page to ensure the server works.
- Open the Start menu and click (expand) on the folder name "Apache Tomcat 10.1 Tomcat10".
- click on the "Welcome".
- You will see, Tomcat welcome page it shows that the Apache Tomcat web server works.
*Below are the minimum external resources subscriber needs to have to use this product: -An Internet Connection is required in order for this product to function as expected. -We recommend keeping your crucial data in a custom made encrypted EBS in order to save from termination in future.
