Robust multi-cloud security with a minor setup curve

    Reviewed on Jun 12, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Cortex Cloud’s unified dashboard brings together real-time threat detection, automated policy recommendations, and detailed compliance reporting in one place. Its seamless integrations with AWS, Azure, and popular SIEM platforms meant we were ingesting logs and acting on alerts within hours, not days. The customizable alert rules and intuitive visualizations have helped our team rapidly pinpoint anomalies and reduce manual review time by over 40%.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial onboarding can be time-intensive—there’s a lot of policy fine-tuning required before you hit “optimal” settings, and some advanced modules (like custom indicators) lack step-by-step guides. The UI also feels a bit cluttered when monitoring many workloads simultaneously, and usage-based pricing can escalate quickly for larger environments unless you carefully manage data ingestion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud solves the core challenges of securing dynamic, multi-cloud environments by unifying visibility and controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP into a single console, automating threat detection and triage with machine-learning analytics that reduce false positives by roughly 60%, enforcing real-time policy orchestration to eliminate configuration drift, and generating continuous, audit-ready compliance reports. As a result, we halved our mean time to remediation, reclaimed over 20 analyst-hours per week from manual log-sifting, maintained 100% compliance, and scaled protection across more than ten cloud accounts without adding headcount.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has AI integrated into it which saves lots of time. And its also great that is has protective barriers and unified dashboard for ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first the UI is a little overwhelming with its depth of features. Initial setup was a bit difficult for me and licensing can be a bit complex which can slow down productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud is helping us unify our cloud security operations and housekeeping across different enviorments. Its helping us with CSPM, runtime threat detection, and automated responses. It also helped us reduce our alert fatigue and the AI has helped us improve our productivity for fixing our issues.

A complete security solution for cloud environments, ideal even in the study phase.

    Reviewed on Jun 10, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Although I haven't used it in a real production environment, I have had the opportunity to study and explore Cortex Cloud thoroughly in lab environments. What caught my attention the most is the way it centralizes security for different cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. The interface is very clear, and the alert and policy system makes it easy to understand how to detect threats and misconfigurations. I found it very useful for automating incident responses and for visualizing the security status in a graphical and detailed way. I believe that for any security team, having a tool like this is a great advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my experience as a student, the most complicated part was getting familiar at first with all the modules the platform offers. It has many advanced features and, although that is a strength, it can make learning a bit slower if you don't have prior experience with cloud security solutions. I noticed some examples that weren't very clear, which I had to read many times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems is that it can be complicated at first; it takes time to understand it well and adjust the alerts so they are not excessive. It also depends a lot on having a good connection.

This has benefited me because it forced me to learn more about automation and incident analysis. Now I have more control over the security tools and know how to make the most of them in real situations.

Cortex Cloud handles large volumes of data efficiently.

    Reviewed on Jun 03, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Real-time collaboration features, access control, and user management make it effective for multi-user environments.
It supports integration with major cloud providers, databases, and analytics tools, offering flexibility across tech stacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
New users may find the platform complex at first, especially when configuring custom workflows or integrating with external APIs.
Pricing may be steep for smaller teams or startups, particularly when scaling up storage or user seats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud helps solve the challenge of managing and automating complex data workflows across distributed teams. By centralizing data operations, it reduces the need for manual scripting, improves visibility into pipeline performance, and accelerates deployment cycles.

Cortex Cloud is lightweight and compact, very ease of use

    Reviewed on May 26, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly effective for teams managing distributed systems or IoT devices and allows both beginners and advanced users to manage complex workflows without a steep learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users might also find the custom alerting and automation tools limited, compared to other leading platforms. The pricing isn’t very transparent, especially for enterprise-level use, and the billing model could benefit from more clarity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its integration with popular DevOps tools and solid documentation makes onboarding relatively smooth. I particularly appreciate the role-based access controls and the ability to monitor system health across various environments in a single dashboard.
