Cloud migrations and cloud transformations, while freeing a customers from undifferentiated heavy lifting, also inevitably come with new ways to approach, manage, and think IT endeavors. The new also oftentimes happens to represent the unkown, which can cause suspicions, fear and rejection from a customer's organization. Lastly, many markets demand constant innovation from their participants, which requires constant upskilling and embracing new technologies. In order to properly address such concerns and optimally prepare for the changes brought about by the cloud paradigm, a comprehensive enablement should be started even before the first workloads are migrated towards the cloud.

Being a member of the AWS Immersion Day Program, MHP can help in enabling and upskilling any number of individual contributors from a customer's organization, either in preparation for a move to the AWS cloud or supporting an already ongoing AWS journey. AWS Immersion Days are workshop-like trainings, which consist of presentations and hands-on labs that can be delivered over several half- or full-day engagements. Contents can cover all aspects of the AWS cloud, like, e.g., Containers (Amazon ECS and/or Amazon EKS), serverless development (AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon CloudFront) or infrastructure-as-code (CDK and/or CloudFormation). All materials are presented and curated by AWS-certified MHP consultants. Furthermore, all hands-on workshops are performed in AWS environments pre-provisioned by MHP and therefore do not require an upfront monetary commitment by the customer. Session content, depth and length can be varied according to the customer's needs and context, e.g., combinations of AWS with further technology stacks relevant to the business like SAP, Mendix, or Salesforce.

If desired, the lifetime of hands-on AWS environments used during the training can be extended to allow for further expanding on workshop content. Guided by MHP consultants, participants can use such playgrounds to ideate and build fully-fledged Proof-Of-Concepts, which can serve nucleus for new product innovations.
