Overview
Kyndryl's Managed Services for AWS is a comprehensive suite of services designed to manage Client’s data and analytics environments deployed on the AWS Analytics platform. Kyndryl can provide ongoing managed services for the Client’s in-scope environment on AWS. These services are delivered based on an agreed-upon statement of work.
Ongoing managed services allow clients to achieve better business outcomes; the service capabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Data Platform Managed services for data warehouse using Amazon Redshift, data lake using AWS Lake Formation
- Data Integration and Job Management to manage data pipeline, ETL, and orchestration for AWS Glue, AWS DMS, AWS Lambda, Amazon Appflow, etc.
- Data governance to control access and minimize risk through data masking and data anonymization.
- Data security and compliance for AWS Redshift and AWS Lake Formation using AWS Glue, AWS IAM, etc.
- Data Reliability/Data Observability for AWS Data Analytics Platform
- End-to-end life cycle management of ML-Ops using AWS Sagemaker and AWS Athena.
These services are offered with:
- 24x7 monitoring of the data platform
- 24x7 round-the-clock support OR 8x5 support with on-call for priority one or priority two issues
- Incident/Problem/Change Management associated with the data platform
- Service Management SLAs
- Month reporting, including SLAs
- Standard Compliance Management
Kyndryl offers a flexible delivery model with a dedicated or shared team to meet regulatory requirements or economies of scale.
Kyndryl managed services offer Service Management SLAs for Resolution time, Response time, and Platform Availability SLA. Kyndryl also offers Data Reliability SLA for Data Quality defect rate, Data Pipeline uptime, and Pipeline Performance. Data Reliability/Data Observability for AWS Data Analytics Platform is an SLA-assured service to guarantee data pipeline uptime and performance. Clients also get data quality services to detect defects in the predefined rules.
As part of managed services, clients get access to Kyndryl’s Data and AI Console (KDAC), an IP developed and owned by Kyndryl. KDAC is a fully integrated console that offers a single pane of view without coding or reengineering to achieve end-to-end data observability, data quality, data governance, data security/privacy, FinOps intelligence, and actionable insights to achieve predictive maintenance. The console also allows organizations to have data catalogs, automated tagging, and the ability to trace data lineage, providing the entire enterprise with access to high-quality data while also improving reliability and trust.
