Overview
Testable is an innovative distributed load testing platform. Define a test with a variety of open-source tools and let Testable handle the scale, reporting, and analytics. Supports JMeter, Gatling, Locust, Node.js (including HTTP, websockets, Socket.io, and Engine.io), Webdriver.io, Selenium Java, Serenity BDD, PhantomJS, SlimerJS, record-and-replay, and HAR files.
Run as many tests and generate as much load as you want from each EC2 instance. Let Testable's cloud platform coordinate distribution of tests and real-time aggregation of results across multiple instances.
Results include percentiles, success analytics, and trend analysis for every single metric. Want to know how many concurrent users your environment can handle? Define your performance requirements and we can automatically scale, detect and alert on the number of concurrent users that meet those performance requirements. Even track how that number changes across test runs like any other metric. Define your own success criteria and get alerted when a test fails to meet them.
Results can be shared and customized to provide different views for different stakeholders. We also integrate with leading monitoring tools like NewRelic and CI solutions to seamlessly integrate load testing and monitoring into your software development lifecycle.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
- Several security updates and bug fixes
Additional details
Usage instructions
- Launch one or more test runners using this AMI and record the instance ids. Make sure instances are able to connect out to agents.testable.io on port 443.
- Go to https://a.testable.io and navigate to Org Management => Test Runner Sources => Self-Hosted and press the "Register Test Runner" button.
- Use the instance ids from step 1 to register the newly launched test runners. They will take a few minutes after launch to appear here. Group test runners into regions using a region name of your choosing.
- Create a new test case and in the test configuration you will see the regions setup in step 3 in the Locations dropdown towards the bottom of the list. Load will be evenly distributed across the test runners registered in the selected regions.
See https://testable.io/documentation/integration/aws-marketplace.html for more details.
