The included data is provided by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis' FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) platform, which contains information on over 700,000+ series related to historical economic data. Data coverage starts from 1967-01-07. The data is seasonally adjusted. Data is offered in CSV format and the update frequency is weekly.
The claims data contained on the ETA 539 report are used in current economic analysis of unemployment trends in the Nation, and in each state. Included with this resouce are both the ETA 539's historical raw data and a copy of the U.S. Department of Labor ETA´s weekly release "Unemployment Insurance Claims" report. Comments within the report serve to offer further context to recent data reflected in the raw data files.
