With our ConRes Insights service, Continental Resources analyzes your cloud environment to optimize cost, validate security, and ensure well architected best practices. ConRes Insights is available for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. We also extend ConRes Insights to the network layer for hybrid environments, ensuring full coverage for workloads interfacing with traditional data centers or other clouds, both internal and third party.

ConRes Insights includes:

1. Cost review to ensure spend is right-sized to utilization. Also included is a cost architecture optimization review to ensure cloud cost savings strategies are fully considered. Examples of cloud cost savings strategies may include Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, time-based instance uptime, Auto Scaling (automated horizontal instance scaling), vertical instance scaling, storage class right-sizing, serverless opportunities, etc.

2. Security review and Compliance control validation. A full security risk assessment of cloud infrastructure and cloud-based application workloads, including a full cloud to physical network and edge security review. Also included is a Compliance control review for environments required to adhere to security standards such as ISO, NIST, PCI, FedRAMP, GDPR, etc. This Security and Compliance control assessment is typically executed via a combination of ConRes Architect expertise plus trusted third-party partner tooling.

3. Well Architected Framework review. Cloud Well Architected Framework tools provided natively by cloud providers have matured, but are lacking analysis and prioritization by experienced and certified Cloud Architects. ConRes Insights offers a combination of native tools, expert architects, and (where beneficial) targeted third-party partner tools to offer a high value and actionable WAFR.

4. Expert review and remediation planning. The true key to success for ConRes is our relationship with our customers. For 60 years ConRes has put the customer first. This culture extends to ConRes Insights with our expert review of ConRes Insights findings and our collaboration with the customer to prioritize findings and define a plan for remediation.
