Product Overview

The DART PacketSensor is a lightweight virtual instance that analyzes 100% of network packets, collecting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure QoE and SLA targets. It provides both North/South (N/S) and East/West (E/W) visibility for each session in the virtual environment.
PacketSensors are essential components of the DART AWS Performance Management Center and must be used with DART. In AWS, DART Packet Sensors can be strategically deployed to generate Intellidata from packets for each flow in the AWS Infrastructure, which are then transmitted to the DART platform.
Critical features of DART PacketSensors include individualized flow data details. This Intellidata depicts all encountered error conditions and performance metrics to ensure KPI targets are met. PacketSensor - 3Gbps can aggregate network traffic from multiple ports to a single port up to 3 Gbps, thus eliminating the need for additional sensors for different application instances. They also support filtering and standard export formats and can query packets based on multiple criteria.
