Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the running software, billed per EC2 instance type you select. The many dimensions are not tiers or feature levels. Each one maps to a specific EC2 instance size, spanning compute-optimized (c-family), general purpose (m-family and t-family), memory-optimized (r-family and x-family), storage-optimized (d, h, and i families), and accelerated computing (g, p, f, and dl families). Your hourly cost scales with the size and capability of the instance you choose. Larger instances carry more virtual CPU and memory, so you match the instance to your workload and pay accordingly.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The charge covers the running software plus the underlying EC2 instance. The listing packages InfluxDB, a time series database for high write and query loads, as a preconfigured AMI. It launches already running and listening on port 8086. You pick one instance type per running server and pay per hour.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped instance stops accruing the per-hour software fee. Underlying AWS storage tied to the instance may still incur separate AWS fees, but the software meters running time only.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing like that, they are completely awesome. They can keep increasing their customer satisfaction in Agile methodology. Overall, COG version of InfluxDB is excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
COG version of InfluxDB is making the business to fasten and smooth the process. It's highly helpful in all verticals. Overall, i am completely satisfied with this.

What do you like best about the product?
The accurate data and it's very insightful.
The most valuable features are aggregating the data and integration with Graphana for monitoring.

What do you dislike about the product?
InfluxDB can improve by including new metrics on other technologies. They had some changes recently to pool data from endpoints but the functionality is not good enough in the industry
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has led me down the path of looking at how to down sample data and after running into some problems, looking at the open issues. There’s a shocking trail of broken behaviour that has me questioning about whether my choice to use influxdb was sound
