From the moment we onboarded, Scytale gave us a clear roadmap toward certification. Their platform automatically mapped every ISO 27001 control, tracked our progress in real time, and helped us collect and organize evidence with just a few clicks.
What really stood out was how much time and effort we saved. Instead of juggling manual tasks, we focused on strengthening our security posture while Scytale handled the heavy lifting — automation, reminders, and compliance tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the integrated experience that Scytale provides, as it allows us to seamlessly manage our compliance points while offering a centralized platform. This helps us in efficiently implementing and creating evidence for each control, which is crucial for maintaining compliance with guidelines like GDPR and ISO 27001. Additionally, I greatly appreciate the support and assistance from the GRC team. Their involvement in regular meetings has been immensely helpful in not only guiding us through the compliance framework but also in helping us to adapt Scytale effectively within our organization.

There have been a few bugs in the product. But it's improving constantly.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate the most is that it genuinely takes the pressure out of SOC/ISO prep (easy and fast implementation!). The automated evidence collection from our AWS environment has been particularly helpful, it has removed a lot of manual chasing. But honestly, the biggest value for us has been working with Celeste. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and keeps everything moving in a really practical, grounded way. We’ve had a few complex or unusual asks along the way, and she’s been able to guide us through all of it without making things feel heavy or bureaucratic. The whole approach has felt flexible and aligned with how we actually work, rather than forcing us into a rigid template.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to “dislike”, but if I had to point at something, the integrations setup flow could be a bit smoother and quicker. It all works, it just takes a bit of guidance the first time around (however docs are clear, I just was overthinking it). Also, I know Scytale are planning to refresh the Control Center module, as it could use a bit of refinement - but it’s still been perfectly usable for us!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale is helping us stay organized and prepared throughout our SOC/ISO work without having to build a huge internal compliance function. The automated evidence collection and the structure around policies and controls removes a lot of manual effort and “where are we with this?” back-and-forth. It also keeps us confident that we’re actually audit-ready rather than scrambling at the end. Having Celeste guide us through each piece has been a big part of the benefit - it means we always know what to do next and we’re not wasting time second-guessing how something should be approached. Overall it’s allowed us to move through compliance in a much more efficient and calm way.

How they ease our process to achieve our ISO 27001 certification. Also, our point of contact there, Laura, helped us a lot and guided us through every step with patience and professionalism.
Their platform made the compliance journey much simpler, and their team was always available to answer our questions quickly.
