Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

What do you like best about the product?
This tool makes it much easier for me to locate the data fields I need within my organization's data architecture. I also appreciate that it highlights popular joins, which is quite helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who isn't a data or SQL expert, I would appreciate having more straightforward guidance to help me get value from the product more quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool assists me in composing SQL queries for my UX research projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly and easy to navigate the interface is, making documentation straightforward and efficient. The AI feature that assists with field descriptions and generating metrics is amazing, saving me significant time. Additionally, its seamless integration with tools like Tableau really enhances my workflow.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been ramping at a company for only 3 days, Select Star makes it easy to search for relevant metadata for fields that I'm chasing down to include in my analysis, and includes the data lineage needed to source the metrics as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be determined, so far it seems like a pretty good tool.

What do you like best about the product?
As a user it's easy to get going with the basics of the platform. Full set up including things like field definitions, ownership of items looks as if it will be time consuming for all team members. We are early in our implementation but the AI feature has already been super helpful in finding fields that I don't know the location of inside of snowflake!
What do you dislike about the product?
Things like the popularity or view counts of a dashboard, table etc. seem to be limited to Select Star users. Would be much more beneficial to have popularity (especially for dashboards) be based on actual end user views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large data ecosphere including AWS, snowflake, fivetran, dbt, powerbi etc. Keeping these platforms documented and in sync can be challenging. Select Star brings all of that together for us.
