Multi-Region risk reduction for APRA regulated Financial Services

Prior to the launch of the Melbourne AWS Region, many Australian and New Zealand AWS customers may have been using overseas AWS Regions or other providers for disaster recovery solutions and/or backup storage. Now that Australia is home to two AWS Regions, these organisations are presented with an opportunity to re-evaluate and consolidate their disaster recovery solutions and backups within Australian borders (and a local region in Perth).

How we will do it

Mantel Group will conduct a complimentary discovery and planning workshop using AWS Well-Architected, patterns for AWS Multi-Regions with your organisation to understand the current state, challenges and objectives. We will evaluate options with you and produce recommendations that are appropriate for your organisation and aligned to the AWS Well-Architected Framework. These recommendations will employ the use AWS cloud-native solutions (such as AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery) to provide cost effective solutions that meet your business objectives.

• A workshop to evaluate current state, objectives and options to improve resiliency and business continuity outcomes for your workloads
• Recommended next steps
• A Statement of Work to deliver on the recommendations provided
