Let IBM Support help to deliver and optimize your Spectrum LSF environment. Two additional levels of customer cares above IBM Enterprise Support are offered, IBM Remote Assigned Engineer Support (RAES) and IBM Remote Mission Critical Support (RMCS).

**IBM Remote Assigned Engineer Support (RAES) *Includes all the services delivered by IBM Enterprise Support and includes access to a Remote Assigned Support Engineer (ASE) with the following responsibilities

  • Direct liaison with client to accelerate issue escalation and resolutions
  • Regular status updates, issue reviews, corrective actions, etc.
  • Maintaining a profile, test environment and workloads patterns like the client’s production environment to streamline and expedite investigations and resolutions
  • Remote health monitoring of client’s environment during critical changes (e.g., upgrades)
  • Investigate S1 issues remotely in the client’s environment (only with explicit client permissions)
  • Multi-site coordination of all reported issues
  • Directly support application developers for issues arising during development and integration

**IBM Remote Mission Critical Support (RMCS) *RMCS Includes all the services delivered by RAES with expanded ASE responsibilities and the inclusion of a dedicated Technical Account Manager (TAM)

  • Expanded ASE coverage includes
    • Remote access on weekends during critical changes (e.g., new app going live, upgrades, etc.)
    • Investigation of client specific application integration and environment issues
  • TAM delivers technical critical care including
    • Single point of contact for all issues
      • Tracking all issues (e.g., app, prod, defects, custom eng, betas, etc.)
    • Expanded support SLA to 24 x 7 and allowing serious UAT issues to be raised to S1 status
    • Facilitating communications with R&D and Product Management as needed
    • Daily updates for S1 issues
    • Change reviews and planning (e.g., upgrades, migrations, etc.)
    • Regular reports reviewing past and planned activities, enhancements requests and progress, etc.

IBM Spectrum LSF private offer

IBM Spectrum LSF is available for purchase from the AWS Marketplace through a private offer. The following process describes how to create a private offer directly with your IBM sales representative. If you are working with an IBM Business Partner, contact them to initiate the private offer process.

Initiate a private offer for IBM Spectrum LSF on the AWS Marketplace

  1. Contact your IBM sales representative and request a private offer
  2. Work with your IBM Sales representative who will create a quote (price and terms) for the private offer. You will need to provide IBM sales with your AWS account number so the private offer can be associated with your account.
  3. IBM Sales operations will create the private offer and send you a private URL that will list the quote number and terms of the offer.
  4. The offer will also be posted in your AWS marketplace account where you will formally accept the private offer
  5. You will receive confirmation of acceptance and entitlement for Spectrum LSF, and instructions for the next steps
