First Pass is a compressed version of our deep-dive Cost Optimization Project, limited to a single day and covering everything we can during that one day.

During the First Pass engagement, we’ll be reviewing your organization’s AWS costs and any architecture diagrams your organization shares with us. This will be done before our meetings with your team, so we are as prepared as possible for deeper discussions.

The core of our work together on this engagement will be the discussions with your team. We’ll meet with as many people as you’d like us to, so long as all meetings fit within the one day we have allocated to this engagement. The day we meet will be a mutually agreeable day.

Following our meetings, we will write a report summarizing what we discussed and include all of our findings and recommendations. We will schedule a meeting with you to go over the report and answer any questions you have. This report and presentation will be delivered within three business days of finishing our meetings with your team.

The pricing for this service follows a sliding scale depending on the size of your environment. As we’ve found that the size of your AWS bill makes for a good correlation with complexity, the price depends on your monthly spend.
