The Review is a free service, performed by one of our AWS Certified consultants, who will assess one of your AWS workloads against the five pillars of the Framework.

• Operational Excellence - Delivering business value through continual improvement of processes and procedures. Performing operations as code, making small, frequent, reversible changes and anticipating failure with ‘pre-mortem’ exercises are key principles to facilitate this.

• Security - Protecting information and systems with proven methods like privilege management, data confidentiality and risk assessment.Security can be strengthened through better traceability, layered defence-in-depth and incident preparation.

• Reliability - Having the ability to prevent, and the resilience to recover from, system failures and disruptions. This can be enhanced through automatic failure recovery, test recovery procedures and change automation.

• Performance Efficiency - Taking steps to ensure compute resources are used in the most efficient way as demands change and technologies advance. Design principles to help achieve this include serverless architectures and regular experimentation.

• Cost Optimisation - Analysing spend and avoiding unnecessary costs to maintain value as the system scales to meet evolving business needs. Managed services and consumption models ensure you only pay for what you need.

AWS certified Solution Architect Professionals will complete your Review, which typically take between two and four hours. You’ll receive expert guidance and a written report outlining a proposed solutions to improve your architecture. Small, high-impact packages of work are highlighted to deliver quick wins.

In addition, if within 30 days, you work with us to remediate any issues identified, AWS provides up to $5,000 of service credit to offset against our services.
